  1. I enjoy IOs, but also don't have the inclination/time to plot out full builds. So I just craft them when I find the recipe and salvage. I've got a dozen Alts, and usually someone can use whatever I find - the rest I sell. I'm probably more exited than most when I see an orange salvage/recipe drop 😁 I do craft and pass them through AH to get attuned versions. I figure, if someone hits 50 I can sell and work out a real build. Until then, I get the enjoyment of finding stuff.
  2. If you run the old stuff there's an awful lot of: Clear this big office building of the same clump of 3 family members. On the flip side, the way they made new content more interesting also makes it unpredictably more difficult. Endless spawns of bad guys, here's 3 bosses all at once, etc. I start bumping up mission difficulty at level 25, but I've stopped doing that in First Ward and Night Ward. Cause ever so often this leads to a blow out.
  3. I don't AE. There's enough newer content that you can skip old content without running dry - at least through 30 (where my highest is at). In fact, once you get off the old-contact tract it seems hard to get back on it - you rarely get introduced. It does mean all your Alts run through the same stuff. As such, I've got an Alt running through the old to experience something new 😁
  4. I'd say the problem with Blood Frenzy is its impact is so vague many of us were confused as to what it is doing for us 😀. Compare this to something like Water Blast, where the full-stack rewards are more obvious. Even simple stuff, like graphically showing Rending Flurry's expanded circle, would help.
  5. I thought Savage's Exhausted just meant no building blood frenzy for around 10 seconds. You lose out on the damage bonus and endurance discount that comes with blood frenzy, but I didn't think it crashed your endurance. I have a low-level Savage/Bio brute. Bio masks a bunch of issues, but I think I'd notice an endurance crash.
  6. Conductive Aura has been a great help against EBs. Been going through Faultline solo, got to the first Widow EB with just one purple, assume I was doomed. Nope - she ran out of gas first. The Lost Lts were a bigger hassle 🙂
  7. Years back I had a fire/fire dom that struggled to solo in his teens. The single target immob is what got me past it -- string them out while retreating. Now I'm struggling with an electric/martial, experimenting with all that knockdown. Bosses tend to fall down on one application, but AVs not so much. I wish martial got the blaster's Chi Push.
  8. I was definitely getting procs on a Widow last night. I have it in Lunge, in case that matters.
  9. Second run the heal fired for Kick and even Mire. But still not Gravity Well, which is where I put Essence Transfer. Looks like roughly 4% chance across attacks that can fire the heal.
  10. Ran another mission, counted up the successful attacks and heals again: Cross Punch : 38 attacks, 1 heal, 3% Shadow Blast : 38 attacks, 1 heal, 3% Kick : 51 attacks, 3 heals, 6% Gravity Well : 27 attacks 0 heals Sunless Mire : 9 attacks, 1 heal, 11% Essence Transfer is in Gravity Well, which happens to be the attack that hasn't fired the heal. Not counting Gravity Well, there's a 4% chance to fire the heal across the rest of the attacks, same with my previous run -- well below the stated 12%. Also: Essence Transfer heals around 24 against same-level enemies at level 23. This is similar to what the Corruptor's heal pbaoe proc heals for. Since this isn't pbaoe, I'd expect it to heal for more, or more often.
  11. Essence Transfer says it adds a flat 12% chance to many of your attacks. I don't think PPM applies.
  12. I did some manual Essence Transfer counting of the combat log, and added a topic to the bugs forum. I encourage other folks to chime in. TLDR: Doesn't fire for Gravity Well and Kick, and at lower-than-reported rate for Shadow Blast and Cross Punch. Or the global rate is around 3% and Kick and Gravity got unlucky.
  13. The Essence Transfer heal proc says most attacks have a 12% chance to fire a small heal. From casual observation I could tell many attacks won't fire and/or the rate is much lower. I don't know how to setup to parse the combat log, but I do know how to manually count entries in the log 😀-- I ran a solo mission with a level 23 warshade in human form, filled up the log, and went back to count. I counted attack activations that hit something, and when they fired the heal: Cross Punch : 23 activations, 2 heals, 9% Shadow Blast : 19 activations, 1 heal, 5% Kick : 25 activations, 0 heals Gravity Well : 15 activations, 0 heals Sunless Mire : 4 activations, 0 heals Essence Transfer is in Gravity Well. Some folks report it only works in the power you slot it in -- clearly not for me. But maybe they put it in one of the few attacks that can fire. I'll try to run this test again, to see if Kick and Gravity Well don't fire the heal, or the global rate is just very very low (its around 3% if all these attacks can fire)
  14. There is a thread on the warshade / peacekeeper forum about it. It does proc, but it's rare - first time I slotted it I counted twice in a solo mission. Five the next, zero the time after that. For human-mode warshade, taking 4+ attacks to kill anything, I'd expect every other spawn clump. Even accounting for how RNG likes to trick you, this felt really low. But I don't know enough about how to parse the combat log to get exact numbers.
  15. I can add some observations: A couple days ago I put the Essence Transfer heal proc in Gravity Well, on a level 21 human-only warshade. No other forms of healing, so its easy to keep track of when it fires. Did a solo mission and it fired twice, for 20ish. Did another and it fired 5 times. Even accounting for RNG this felt really low. Was worried it was the Fighting pool attacks, but the proc I found in the log was right after Cross Punch. For reference, I also have a low 20ish Corruptor with the Scourging Blast heal proc, and it heals for the same amount. But it's PBAoE, also gives some endurance, and fires a bunch more. Essense Transfer is a bad deal if it isn't bugged. Also: I'd noticed with the corruptor you get a bigger heal off of lower level targets. Seems the same thing happens here.
  16. Bought, and yes - PBAoE around the player. 5 endurance and around 25 health at level 22. Oddly, heals more when the attack hits a lower level target. Never seen it go off when the attack misses. Hardly as earth shattering as one of the Stalker procs, but nice enough on my traps corruptor. And the healing is effected by Field Medic.
  17. It's a chance for a minor +end pbaoe. Is that around the corruptor, or around a target?
  18. I thought attuned enhancements stopped growing beyond the highest level of the set. Ex: My level 25 tank's Triumphant Insult enhancement should stop at level 20, cause it's a 10-20 set. That's not what I'm seeing. Looking at the auction house, attuned enhancements from higher level taunt sets show the same bonus. So unless it's a display issue, I'm thinking there is no cap. Is this one of those recent improvements?
  19. Wondering if Mind/Radiation is just a bad idea. At least if I take the sleeps.
