  1. Ice is my favourite, slows make up for the lack of taunt aura, ice patch keeps stuff flopping. Could probably get more procs in FT but i was getting a pretty good chain thanks to the ff+rech in CP. When i get round to respeccing it for page 5 i'll probably drop crosspunch for GIS. Ageless seems to be a force pick on /stone for me i just can't keep the blue bar topped up:

  3. My mistake, so many pets out at once i could hardly see what was going on, i managed to target one and was hitting sb/fulcrum/transfuse through them but i couldn't see the hp bar or if it was affected by other buffs.

  6. Saw your toon a few hours back as i was running around the city. I have a rad/stone and ice/stone and they are both end heavy even with PP. Taking 2 powers to get to fireball and leaving them empty is worse than having to take an unslotted boxing and tough just to get to weave (which i pretty much did) . I would of thought fire sword deserved some slots and doesn't cremate take an ff+rech now? More recharge is good. I'd find a slot for a kismet+acc, its always handy especially if you skip tactics/focused acc. 6 slotted rooted with a numi set only loses you 5% recharge but you'd have a slightly higher s/l res+hp and pretty much the same e/ne def which would let you drop those cleaving blows in FSC and possibly drop the reactives in tough for 4 unbreakable/aegis. Crystal armour and minerals i run 4 shield wall in each, the way you slotted minerals with a SW and 3 lotg instead of 3 SW and the 7.5% you lost some hp.
  7. @Harakh i'd love to see your own build. I recently respecced mine (working my way through the mm's slowly) during tot but didn't have mids to play around with it so its still as it was then. Never occurred to me to slot life drain for the lich's benefit. Newly updated mids isn't allowing pet in some powers still, i didn't realise new soul extraction could slot - to hit now. If your slotting defensive toggles your still better off with a lotg 7.5% and 3 reactive in one with a lotg 7.5% and 3 shield wall in another for better overall bonuses instead of just tossing them in cj/hover and using 3 lotg in the toggle. I dropped shock for defibrillate in the last respec but now mids is kind of working i need to respec again. Looking like this now and yes i still run into melee first, only now i drop faraday instead of spamming the heal as i would on the kin:

  9. @Harakh i have tried running an mm with bonfire. Just once. I still can't get over them not giving heat mastery fire shield. Its hard enough now as i'm skipping fighting pool on most mm's to find slots for the new upgrades, without that and an epic shield i tend to get 1 shotted instantly as i rarely play outside of melee range unless its something like a bots/dark or mercs/storm. Kin lets me keep fighting and leadership but soon as you switch epics you have almost 0 def/res. And i don't like the long recharge on bonfire, it can barely keep up when soloing i find it useless on teams no matter how much recharge i have or how i slot it. Your right about BG mode, if i run it and take hits pets drop. Better to play aggressive and take the hit myself and 1 click top up hp with the kin powers. @plainguy it looks like full slotting is the way to go. Numbers on the winters bite look much better although i wonder if thats because its gloom thats the better dps. No pic for life drain? I'd guess theres 0 benefitting the spectre summoned with a numi set in. No acc no dmg. I was going to ask Harakh how the spectres tanked but i can see the 400% taunt i didnt notice before. I'm uncertain if spectres would be affected by buffs like leadership. As far as i can tell they are untargetable/unbuffable.

High level hard stuff the pets just get tossed into the meat grinder, anyone who's played bad mm combo's (or just plays mm's badly as i do) over the years is used to resummoning pets constantly. There's no way i'm surviving tough stuff if i hop in before the pets catch up even in BG mode and i almost always have them set to aggressive. End is heavy, repel eats it up i have to be sitting on stuff for the transference/transfusion and i'm spamming attacks when i can it always amazes me how fast i can drain the blue bar on any AT. And i don't bother checking radius on most stuff, if i stand toe to toe i know i'll get the benefits of the kin. I'll either wup stuff with max fulcrums or faceplant i'm good with either. Pretty sure i was better off running scorp as i originally did. Resists only matter when you get hit 🙂
  11. Necro/dark is one of my favourites and i'm hesitant to respec it as its working so well now but QoL means i can take powers sooner so i will eventually. Above is a necro/kin i just guessed at a respec , dropped scorp shield so i'm already wondering how it will handle. Mids sort of updated but its only letting me put some of the sets in some of the upgrades and necro doesnt seem to be 1. I'm a bit iffy about it. Dropping scorp had me chasing ranged def which i dont like to do and didnt manage anyway and i cant get siphon power in which i think is really useful for the melee pet sets that can get hammered. I play all melee, centre of mobs, always first in and then just spam heal til pets catch up and i can fulcrum. Enchant undead has 4 unbreakables, dark empowerment has a couple panacea (really late here so i'll test it out tomorrow i have to log now) :
  12. Switched back to a couple end red in repulsion it doesnt seem to be affecting them in the way i want with a sudden acc in its just knocking single targets down for some reason and not pushing anything away.
  13. I had no idea they could be capable of tanking stuff. And no idea how to fit in all 3 attacks. Curious if your lifedrain slotting means they pump out less damage or if it in any way enhances their own abilities. Throwing in full sets of winters bites/apoc/thunderstrikes doesn't look as if it will bump their puny damage but the fact that they can take alpha's for the squishies is very handy to know.
  14. It was always fun, but with damping bubble now you kinda want to play in melee to debuff enemies with it, it applies - regen now which really helps vs tough target's. I run repulsion pretty much as i did force bub just took an end red out and replaced it with a sudden acc kb/kd and use it to shove stuff around before turning it off and running in to drop damping bub. Problem with this is you also want the mercs within it and they fare much better at ranged than they do in melee. Bit counter intuitive to run a ranged pet set into melee on purpose but bubbles+dispersion+serum and they just survive. Extra dps they do now is just icing on the cake.

  16. I don't see any info in the patch notes regarding stats on the spectres: Spectral Forces: Activating this power has a chance to summon a Specter to your side! Specters slowly fade away over 90 seconds, even faster when attacking. They cannot be healed, regenerate, upgraded, or commanded, but provide a good distraction. Enhancements in this power will also enhance the stats of summoned Specters. You may only have 1 Specter active per Necromancy attack. So how do enhancements in your attacks affect the summoned spectres, should we be slotting full sets to maximise them? And is it worth taking all of the attacks including dark blast which i've always previously skipped. Anyone got any ideas? I'd assume if you fired off dark blast-gloom-life drain you'd have the possibility of 3 extra pets out but are they significantly putting out enough damage to be worth all the slots and the extra power picks, some of the secondaries use enough slots as it is and with the new upgrades i'm already looking for extra slots for enchant undead and dark empowerment.
  17. I like the new attack system on the mm's i try to keep aimed shot at least on ninjas, if you open out the pet window you can see it being applied. Swap out ss for sj. If you open up the build abobe you'll see i just tossed in @Auroxis fender emp build on top of my ninja/time for slotting. You can dump sorcery, right now i just like it for fly and a mule for res io's and swap in whatever you want. If theres things you don't like just take them out the build and put in the powers you enjoy using and slot for massive amounts of recharge. I find empathy to be one of the most expensive sets to build for. Even with no winter bits finding ways to get your recharge high enough for it to be effective means splashing out on a lot of panaceas/lotg/red fortunes (even the cost of those is high as farmers drop bucketloads of them but then tend to convert them to reactives/lotg) . The rag and apoc sets are pretty much there for the recharge bonuses but if you dump the attacks you can find ways to replace them.
  18. Almost makes sense with whips because we don't yet have a whip set but still. Demons are a really good pet set.
  19. Saw a petless mm on an underground a few days ago. Don't know how effective they were it seems a bit of a pointless exercise to skip your tier 1 set. They did have pistols/dual wield/empty clips so at least they had something. Kind of like a dp/ corr. But not as good.
  20. Ninjas are awesome. Empathy sucks (when your playing it, not when your on the receiving end) Show us your build, what do you want? Which powers do you like? What travel do you use? I have a single empath. Its 50 and i've had it for about a year and played it twice so i dunno if i can help emp side. Ninjas i just started playing again they are no. 1 melee dps pet toons now and eat av's for breakfast faster than anything else.

    End Woes?

    Every stormy i have takes a tier 4 ageless and i pretty much build them knowing thats what i will make at incarnate levels. I want as many pseudopets out as i can get as often as possible. Prior to that i am totally reliant on recovery serums from P2W and blue insps. I take ageless knowing i won't be force picked into cardiac. If i took cardiac i'd have more destiny options but i'd lose recharge and damage.
  22. I'd normally recommend vigor for acc/end/heal on thermals but i've never played it on a fender and with no build to look at i wouldn't know if endurance is an issue. As i like to take clarion on support toons ageless is out so i look for other ways to help with the end heavy blue bar draining powers and i know that fire is one of those. Musculature radial does have some end mod but its such a small amount i don't notice it. Other than that its definitely one of my goto alpha's for about 80% of my alts.

  24. Musculature radial enhances - to hit debuffs so i don't see it helping out tactics/aim/forge unless i'm missing something.
