Giving this a go based on America's Angel rad/fire. Without tactics/focused acc all i was seeing was miss/miss/miss/miss. Just tried the afk spines on one of the updated maps, running energy mastery over mu, switched in spiritual, bumped the hp and regen etc. Lasted 15 seconds. -
Regen is irrelevant on a blaster, thats what green insps are for. Resistance is pretty irrelevant if you have no defence. Elec is not one of the weakest blaster sets in the game its more like top 3. If you want something to compare it to @Carnifax and @Xemnas posted a couple of good builds.

I don't make the best builds i know that, if it hits 45% ranged defence i often call it a day. Check out the stuff @Nemu or @FUBARczar posted and you'll see the difference. They build with specific goals in mind and use the set system to achieve them. If you scroll through a few pages and check other builds hopefull you'll get some idea of how the sets can be used to get what you want. But don't throw inf at a toon and just chuck in random pieces and underslot attacks you'll end up with something that isn't fun to play at all.

First. Click the bottom left box INFO-EFFECTS-TOTALS-ENHANCE. Click totals. Now look at your defence and resist numbers. You don't have any. Now look at the sets you have slotted and see what bonuses they give. You picked dark blast which is all about ranged blasting applying - to hit and controlling the enemy through knockdowns/immobs. The you took fire secondary which is all about getting in melee and burning stuff down as fast as you can before it kills you. Then you took fire epic which only offers resistance from fire shield so your totally reliant upon bonfire for control. To run dark/fire you really want some good ranged defence and melee defence as well as some nice resists but you can't fit all that in without sacrificing stuff. Ok so you took combustion over fire sword circle which is a big loss in damage. But you didnt slot it anyway so no loss there. You slotted evasive. A single lotg 7.5 is all that should be in there unless your chasing ranged def in which case you'd use a couple of zephyrs. Nothing slotted in life drain or tentacles and you have no kb/kd in bonfire. No ff+rech in it either. 3 slotted ring of fire doesnt do anything for you. 6 slotted fire sword, the 6th bonus is f/c/aoe def which isnt doing anything for you. Sets in gloom and tactics and fire shield offer you no useful bonuses. 6 slotted aim isn't helping you, a single rech and the gaussian bu is all it needs. You skipped your best single atrget attack-moonbeam. Hotfeet costs a massive amount of endurance and theres none slotted, theres no accuracy in it and for some reason you threw in range on a power that cannot benefit from it. I looked at every set you slotted in every power you slotted them and if i were you i'd change them all.

I'd place elec blast at no. 2 dps wise, at least in the top 3 with fire and ice although a procced out dual pistols can push it down to 4. Elec/nrg is one of my favourite combos, power boost nuke- ball lightning - short circuit- powersink and dynamo running in melee range and you've drained everything with SC making it tough for them to recover. Voltaic is pumping out small amounts of dps while your blasting with decent heavy hitting single targets stuff thats using the new shock mechanic for extra damage. Doesnt hurt that power boost just bumped your defence massively high as well as bumping your end drain. Second place goes to elec/elec although i'm having a ton of fun right now with elec/dark despite not being much of an end drainer. Its easily my fav blast set on every AT and even more so since it got 'bumped' up.

Appreciate the reply's. Mastermind one is pretty annoying having to drop to ground level. Irradiated i sort of get. Havent got round to testing voltaic sentinel yet and i forgot which of the other toggles was dropping instead of supressing. On the plus side ran my WS through some stuff and its been awesome even when mezzed 😛

Not sure about that one but i did just run an orenbega map on numina as wst and every corridor was blocked by a closed door which i've never seen before.

So it seems mm pets can't be upgraded if your running group fly at a certain height. Not sure if its intentional or not but certain toggles will drop (Irradiated Ground being one) when mezzed.

Of all my bio scraps (and i have about 10) its the least played. ST is great, aoe is pretty much non existent. Energy melee put an end to my StJ days. If your going to play a set with no aoe in it energy is just way superior in pretty much every aspect. For an all rounder i'd still recommend ice or claws or dual blades or war mace.

What Infinitum said. And its still feels like its best on scrappers. Tried it with /sr /wp /bio scraps and a a db/ice stalker. Bio and SR scraps were miles out in front. Hard not to point towards db/bio the offensive and damage aura, high recharge made it my goto on excel. Procced out the db/sr but it still didn't have the same oomph.

If you want to keep scream (and i don't blame you if you do i love the animation on it) the obvious thing to do is drop arcane bolt. Screech hits hard now on top of the great -res it does its a proper damaging attack. I did roll a sonic/poison way back, something like 2-3 years ago and havent touched it since, wanting to play in melee for venemous but having all those cones just didnt work for me. The changes to sonic blast have been fantastic, sirens song is worth taking and slotting for damage if your going to sit at range and spam cones, the single target attack chain feels a lot faster and smoother. Shockwave-howl-sirens song are pretty much all you need on mobs, shockwave can be slotted with an ff+rech and an overwhelming kb/kd which can let you spam the 3 over and over, everything gets knocked down, debuffed then slept, then knocked down, debuffed, slept.....you see where i'm going with this. Low levels you'd have 5-6 cones with poison, sirens coming in at 28, it might even be worth seeing just how it plays as a cone machine without venemous gas, that way no melee necessary.

I ran a cold/sonic, shockwave+howl for soft control/trash mobs, procced out infrigidate/shriek/shout for harder target, snow storm to slow stuff down and benumb for the -regen, superspeed and arctic fog for invis/ghosting. Thats up to level 18. By 20 you could have both team buffs and amplify thrown in too.

Beam/rad corr has been my goto gm killer when any alt on the other account can't put out sufficient dps or -regen. Ended up with 2 of them. I'll always say corr over fender regardless of buff/debuffs simply because of corrs ability to scourge.

Been running it with 4 expedite and a glimpse of the abyss proc since i've been spamming the cone as often as it recharges but i honestly just see the pet as a mule for a recharge bonus, much as i love it graphically i'm not seeing it putting out much dps, as least nothing noticeable.

Shockwave is fantastic, soft control and with an ff+rech and an overwhelming force in you can cycle it with howl and sirens song to shred mobs.

All that and mu mastery? good luck. Mine runs mace for scorp sd but plays all melee, which is where you'll get the most benefit from conductive auras end drain. Elec doesnt play well outside of melee the other powers wont drain the mobs the way you'd like and conductive also bumps your regen, more enemies around you the higher your regen. Playing it aggressively works best by hopping right into the centre of everything and sleep/knockdown/hold/confuse/immob. Gremlins are a little extra dps, sadly they are also a pet that does kb when your jolting chain stacks with their hits and thats the last thing you want- stuff getting knocked away from your conductive aura. The pet from mace is also more useful (i find) and slots more goodies than the mu pet and mace gives pff as a panic button. Try posting the powers you want in a build and maybe someone will be able to put one together for you with the powers you want to play with, i just don't see how you'd get the defence numbers with procs and recharge in with mu. You'd probably have to give up something in order to fit in the others. -
Looks good. I'd still dump the 6th slot in shield charge, that little bit of psi def isn't doing anything for you and another dmg proc/ff+rech would probably be more useful.
