Right, because Electrical Blast doesn't contain a PBAoE power at all. Oh wait, it does. Short Circuit is an important part of Electrical Blast so advising people not to use it is rather counter-intuitive. One power out of nine dude, and there's no reason they can't jump in, blast, and then jump back again. But I've seen time and time again people that just want to stand in one place and tap the keyboard to fire off their powers....

So the option is there, if/when the the discussions with NCSoft come to fruition it could happen, just have to wait and see unless in time the coders come up with something new. The Homecoming Dev team is apparently interested in it: Some sort of client API for addons like this is something that's on my radar. If you could design any kind of information gathering interface you wanted, what kind of things would you like to see in it and what would be easy to connect to?

I like your "Think global but act local" view. And I have no reservations about people that do Power level (just missing out on some fun content IMHO), I freely admit to using DFB to get to my 20's (being an Altoholic repeating the same missions over and over can become tedious). My main (i guess) gripe is... Why? I get all these things handed to me where's the impetus for me to actually do anything in game? I can make my own Superbase better than the batcave. Why do I need an SG? I can open my Incarnate slot and get all the threads/shards/whatever I need just by doing RWZ until my eyes bleed. Why should I do anything else? Without the adversity of mission, the game (for me, your mileage may vary) looses the sense of accomplishment. and yes No one is talking about turning off XP. More of turning up the difficulty in gaining it. There is nothing that needs to be to turned up. If you want it more difficult that is completely in your control. To wit:

Update: 16279 files (15.57%) We're in this for the LONG haul.... every time I think we're making progress, the spider finds more files to index. This could take a LONG while, so don't expect anything any time soon on this.

Have you checked on the Tram? Sometimes missions can only be accessed by seeing them on the Train List, and I don't know that the missions text always says that you have to go to the train.

Run lots and LOTS of story arcs. Story Arcs = Reward Merits Reward Merits = Rare Salvage Rolls Rare Salvage Rolls = 750K-1M on the market ??? PROFIT! I rant through all of Faultline's stories last night within about two hours, and got something like 46 merits... turned them in for salvage and converters, sold them all, and was sitting on like 16 million EASY after just one night's worth of fun mission playing!

Hmmmmm..... Yyyyyeaaahhhh... I don't think I'll be signing up there any time soon.
