  1. The method I knew was logging out up north on Monkey Island where there was a door partially buried under the terrain, then, when you logged back in, you walked out of the door, under the terrain and fell to your doom unless you had flight or decent reactions on TP. I think that method got patched a fair bit before shutdown.
  2. Apparently my memory is jelly. It was Shadow Spider we were nominally aiming for, not Abyss... Got paper missions done, Peregrine Island bank robbed and Invader accolade. Then after some confused flailing on my part, we got onto Shadow Spider's first arc, and finished it and Agent Indigo off. After which as usual, a couple of people were close to next level so a couple of paper missions finished things off. As it stands now, I think most people are in the 46-47 range.
  3. Last week was... chaotic but profitable. All sorts of random missions happened. No real theme or thread to them, but most of us got to 45, which means next time is radio missions, Penguin Island Mayhem and grabbing Abyss as a contact.
  4. /macro Bon powexec_location target Bonfire Will make a macro that drops Bonfire under your currently selected target. /bind lctrl+lbutton powexec_name Bonfire Means that holding control and clicking on the ground will drop a bonfire at that location, assuming it's within the powers activation range. Adjust binds and macro as necessary for the powers and key combinations you want. You an get MUCH fancier with macros and binds using bind_load and macro images, but that's outside my zone of experience.
  5. I always thought it was because Dark Nasty went from 'Lurking Threat' to 'Overt Threat'. That sort of change in intent behind the zone meant I can see the sense in that change.
  6. If you need a target, we hit 40 last week. Will probably get to 41/42ish this week. As I've said before, we're running on single XP, and not doing SF's, and we're still whipping through level bands apace. If we've got space, you're welcome to join, BTW. (since I don't think I've actually said that yet)
  7. It wouldn't be a problem, but we've pretty much stabilised on 8 people, so whether there'd be space is unfortunately another issue entirely...
  8. So, finished off FIshboy with no more problems, other than the apparently obligatory occasional faceplants. Brickstown Mayhem mission with the apparently obligatory "regroup in the police cells" event. Then we split up to two teams of 4 to got play in Dr Kane's House of Horror. My team delayed going in to make sure everyone had a temp costume. The other team didn't. Guess which team got all the badges? There was something else, but I've forgotten what it was now. - Edit - Ah yes, we did a couple of Kelly 'Not a Rikti agent' Uqua's missions.
  9. You may want to add $$powexec_name Jaunt in there too, for any Speed of Sound users you may acquire in the future...
  10. Frankly, for combat use currently on the live servers, I find Speed of Sound from the Experimentation pool, combined with Combat Jumping and maybe Super Jump, to be the most high mobility option. Runspeed cap from SoS, Jaunt from SoS bound to Ctrl+click, and CJ/SJ for vertical. The main reason I say so for SoS/Jaunt is that Jaunt doesn't have the hover. On my Pistols/Devices blaster, I can (while invisible, courtesy of Field Operative and a stealth proc in SoS) blip into the middle of a spawn, place a Time Bomb, Place a Trip Mine, drop caltrops under my feet, Hit Hail of Bullets, then blip out of whatever is left and start the normal AoE/ST attacks to mop up. And even if Time Bomb/Trip Mine are still recharging, being able to Ctrl+click somewhere over there, where there *isn't* something wanting to claw my face off, is useful. And regarding Long Range Teleport, my ideal version of that power would let you place a waypoint on the map and teleport to the waypoint. But there's no way that'd ever happen...
  11. For teleport binds, I personally use "/bind lctrl+lbutton powexec_name Teleport". Hold down Ctrl and click, and you go to where you were pointing. And for whatever reason, that *particular* syntax doesn't leave the targeting recticle active if you hit Ctrl without actually clicking. I also us it for stuff like Phantom Army (I want the invulnerable minions to appear overe *there*), Freezing Rain, Ice Storm etc. etc. If you want to go deep into the (current version of the) Teleport pool - /bind lctrl+lbutton powexec_name Teleport /bind lshift+lbutton powexec_name Group Teleport /bind lalt+lbutton powexec_name Recall Friend$$team $target, prepare for yoink! Sets up three binds, when you use Ctrl to travel, Shift to travel with friends, and Alt to yoink an ally to you. I've never tried to set up a bind with more than one chord key, but I suppose /bind lalt+lctrl+lbutton powexec_name Teleport Foe *might* give a 'yoink that thing over there to over here', if anyone ever used TP Foe, but as I said, I've never tried that particular combination.
  12. Badum Tsh. Thank you, thank you, Luminara will be here all week, try the fish.
  13. Pfft. Illusion isn't a Controller set. It's an Uncontroller set. Illusion/Storm is just pandora's box. You open it up, all hell breaks loose and you just ride along and hope for the best. And that's as the nominal controller... May whatever deities you favour have mercy on the rest of the team.
  14. If you can reliably and on demand pull aggro off a tank, then that tank isn't trying very hard.
  15. Something to bear in mind with Leadership toggles is that if you're involved in something on a league (iTrial, MSR, Hami, whatever) then AFAIK Leadership will only affect your team. So if you're on team 1, then standing next to team 3 which has three Defenders running Leadership on it won't give you any extra ToHit, Defence, Damage or Confuse protection.
  16. So I take it nobody considers 'Taunted' to be a valid control type then? Because a mob taunted by something that can survive the attention of that mob is going to do at most incidental damage to the rest of the team. Admittedly 'Incidental damage' gets rather nasty when dealing with AV's, but Taunt only takes one application to take effect on the self same AV... Also, on the subject of running AV's, Crimson. From Shadow Spider's second arc, redside. He rabbits to the mission exit at high speed once he's taken moderate damage, and if you can't glue him to the floor with enough immobilise, you are almost guaranteed to fail the mission. And if you're trying the mission solo, that can be bad news.
  17. Last night was... a mixed bag. Finished off Sister Airlia's first arc, featuring the item that shall remain nameless, because apparently everybody's 5 years old 😛 Then we decided to go do fishboy's patron arc. (because a) I decided we may as well do a patron arc for people who want to use one, b) there's no way I'm doing the paranoid moron in a tin can's arc again if I can help it and c) everyone else was tired of Emo Boy and Spooky Gal's arcs...) The first mission of that arc does NOT like a team of 8 going in. The Mu Arachnos agent failed to spawn on both of the attempts we made on it. And news flash, +3/+4 Longbow HURT. Finished up with a couple of paper missions, and hopefully in a position to finish Fishboy(tm) off next week. I think pretty much everyone's up to Level 38 or so now.
  18. Yes that, oh and gaining Midnight Club access too.
  19. So this week, Brawler got a little irradiated. Other than Crimson Revenant part 2 being finished off, we knocked on some doors, fried a LOT of zombies and if there's anything else, I forget it.
  20. On Crimson Revenant's first arc last night, I popped a Power Analyser on Mynx and did a few seconds of screen capture to see just how crippled she ended up. This is a quick and dirty composite of screenshots from the shadowplay capture, hopefully it'll be legible after uploading to the board: Edit - Apparently not so visible. Try this link instead to avoid eye strain
  21. Sorry, hadn't checked this thread for a while. Yes, we're still running. And tripping, faceplanting and getting mileage out of Vengeance, Fallout and Mutation Whilst we do use Discord for random gibbering (depending on how knackered people are on a Friday Evening), it's not obligatory. Some people just listen, some don't use it at all. I try to make sure there's enough info in team chat to understand what's going on. To join in, your best bet is likely to drop me a tell to "@Li Sensei" from 7:10pm UK time ish on a Friday evening. I try to make sure I'm on before the nominal start time of 7:30. I think we finished tonight pretty much all at level 33. Tonight involved Doc Buzzsaw's second arc, a Banner event, a Ghost of Scrapyard, Crimson Revenant's first arc and a very, *VERY* debuffed Mynx (And if Lines is reading this, you forgot about it again...)
  22. We got to about level 13 last night. Shouldn't be any problems if you get your chosen radiation source to there and remember next Friday.
  23. 7 individuals of dubious morality and atomic cohesion last night. For anyone wondering about the star ratings, 5 means I know them in real life. 4 means I've played enough to flag them as 'not a numpty' zero stars is default for everyone else. Oh and the thing between Vecter and Atom Heart Father? That be me scurvy dog.
  24. While I don't think there was anything objectionable in chat in the originalscreenshot, it's a default position I take when posting screens. I'm sure there'e plenty of drivel of mine that I wouldn't want posted, why not extend that courtesy to others? Since I'm already using an image editor to crop the image, it takes a couple of seconds to select an area and run a pixelation filter of some flavour. I quite like the look of crystallise, myself.
  25. According to the filename of the original image, that ITF screenshot was from the 16th of November, 2019, at 21:11:14. And yes, I was the idiot doing various all MM TF, including the Citadel we took a break halfway through to devastate a Rikti invasion in Talos... Also also, yes, you were at least one of those all MM TF's, I think. I don't have any screenshots from the LGTF though.
