  1. For End Rec toggles, Temporal Manipulation and Tactical Arrow are your best choices. One of my mains is Energy/Temporal (see sig), and I also have Archery/Tactical and Fire/Tactical blasters. I play both without any of the bow powers (except the T1, which is unavoidable -- and useful in a pinch): the toggles and passives alone make Tactical Arrow worthwhile for any blaster build.
  2. Right: I was merely answering the specific question. If you read up the thread, you'll see that I actually agree with the OP that an account-wide inventory mechanism of some kind would indeed be nice, and I support the idea. It's a +1 from me! 🙂
  3. And the answer to latter question is: use the in-game email system to mail the recipe to your global name. Anything that can be traded or auctioned can be sent via email: Influence, Enhancements, Salvage, Recipes, etc. It's cumbersome, but it's functional. It's not convenient, but it's functional.
  4. Yes, that's a good idea. It's too bad they don't already work that way. Perhaps they can repurpose them for that.
  5. Then quit one SG, join the other SG temporarily, use that SG's equipment, then quit that SG, and rejoin the other SG again. I have multiple characters in multiple SGs and I do this pretty frequently. As long as you have complete control over at least one of the SGs, and permissions to altinvite into any of the others, it's not that difficult to do.
  6. THAT'S what it reminds me of: Warwolves! Thanks for making the connection I couldn't. It's precisely like that.
  7. Update: I specifically did what Cap asked and turned off BA before entering the mission, zoned in, then turned it back on. Using BA only (no Burn), 1 or 2 mobs per group are indeed running away and then coming back. (edit) BA only: I've seen as many as 4 at a time run away and come back. (edit2) Quills only: no runners. Burn only: 4-6 runners.
  8. What is this "think" of which you speak? I'm too busy blasting to "think"! 😎
  9. You are better than me at Masterminding. I concede defeat and will resume Blastering, as per usual. 😁
  10. Prioritize targets? When would I ever get the chance to do so when I'm already busy feeding inspirations to the pet window? Grrr...
  11. I vote for B.
  12. I specifically tested that with my Spines/Fire Brute, and did not notice any fleeing mobs with just Blazing Aura alone.
  13. Which is why I can't ever play MMs for long. I feel like I spend the whole time watching the pet window, instead of the game. Grr...
  14. That was a steep learning curve for me, too. I hadn't yet played EQ or its "holy trinity" back then: I had just come from Asheron's Call, where basically everyone played mage-tanks. I had to learn all about the "role" of being a durable aggro magnet without damage, rather than just killing everything in sight. It was a bit of culture shock, for sure.
  15. A properly built Blaster is pretty durable. My Energy Blasters are almost as durable as my Energy Sentinels, and put out way more damage. But I did need to be 50 and have the right build and IO sets to get there.
  16. *raises hand* I like how it feels, even if I'm a bit disappointed by how it plays. Hopefully, a little buff to damage and a reworking of the Inherent might ameliorate that. We shall see: I'm waiting patiently. 😊
  17. I wouldn't mind an inventory that's shared per account, in addition to keeping the existing one per character. Right now, the closest we have to that is the in-game mail system, which is a bit cumbersome. FYI: did you know that you can convert 50 Reward Merits into a single Hero or Villain Merit? You can then mail that Hero/Villain Merit to another character, who can re-convert them back into 50 Reward Merits. This makes transferring a bit easier. Check out the Convert tab of the merit vending machine for more details.
  18. FYI, from @Captain Powerhouse:
  19. It happens when I first drop Burn when I run into a fresh group of enemies. 1-4 of them per group scatter the first time I drop Burn, and almost every time, they eventually do run back to me. Occasionally, like every third group or so, I'll have 1 that runs away but doesn't come back to me: it stays out at range or returns to its spawn point (if I've moved away). I even tried jumping to 2 or 3 different groups to see what happened past aggro cap. Mobs not aggroed just ignored me, even as I was dropping Burn. But as soon as a previously aggro'ed mob died, then they would react as if aggroed. Most stayed, while a few fled and returned.
  20. They're not nerfs: they're adjustments to the buffs they just got. They're still net buffs, not nerfs.
  21. I decided to re-run at +0x8 to see if the mobs behaved any differently. It seems like I saw 1 or 2 more runners per group, but that may be RNG from a relatively small sample size. Aside from that, the new behavior is the same: most stay, a few run and come back, and still fewer run and return to spawn point (if I've moved away from the spawn point).
  22. I logged on to my Spines/Fire Brute and can confirm that Burn + Blazing Aura is causing some -- but not all -- enemies to flee. I'm running Briggs at +4x8. Burn has always caused enemies to flee, like most ground patch powers. But the taunt in Blazing Aura usually held their attention strong enough to keep them from fleeing. But since the recent patch and patch fix went in, it seems to be working differently. Burn still seems to trigger the "flee", and Blazing Aura still triggers aggro, but neither do so at 100% efficacy. The fleeing mobs do run far away, and they do eventually come back. But if I've moved away from their spawn point, they return to the spawn point, instead of me. I don't know if this is Working As Intended or not, but it's definitely different from either the pre-patch and post-bad-patch/pre-fix behavior. I actually kind of like it, as it's a bit more challenging. I always thought it was dumb of them to just stand in the fire forever. But I didn't like it when all of them ran away, either. Now a few run away while most stay. This will take some adjustment on my part.
  23. Not me: I just patched without trouble and got in fine.
