No, that'd be a code change, mods can't do that. You can replace textures, sounds, and stuff like that, but you can't override how the game calculates distance.

Just pushed an update to the installer, you can now just drop the CoHModInstaller.exe into the ROOT of your game install (e.g C:\Games\Homecoming) and it will auto set the path if it finds a valid install. It also now handles conflicts better, and should make it MUCH more clear if 2 mods are going to conflict. Changed how the Support Bundle system works because 2 people kept submitting multiple bundles a day multiple days in a row.... Added a check on start up to verify if your locally installed HC Version is up to date, hopefully to resolve issues of folks pointing their Mod Installer to the wrong CoH install folder.

Your login name can not be changed. You can update your global handle if you've not already, and if you have you can request a change. But there is no way to change the actual game login name.

Never Dark Skies, and Smog Free COH can not work together, they modify the same base files, and Smog Free overrides the changes made by Never Dark Skies because S comes after N in the load order.

That would make sense, both mods change the same scene files, and the game loads piggs alphabetically, so SmogFreeCoH would load after NeverDarkSkies.

I used the mod during the Halloween event this year with no issue, and it still works fine for me, so something is wrong on your end. We'll need to work through what though. First off please use Tools -> Support Bundle in the installer with your Forum username here so I can take a look. You can also try installing the Corrupted Mod and make sure your game crashes as expected, if not that narrows down the possibilities quickly.

Neither of those options should matter, as I've tested with totally vanilla installs with no options changed. The only thing I can think of is you had the launcher open when you were installing, and it kept overwriting the addition of the asset path. When you closed and reopened the launcher it was able to save that setting. Otherwise not sure, but those options don't effect it in any way.

Server transfers are available as far as I know, unless you mean for Beta, and that requires a code change and publish with no date currently set.

Open your HC Launcher, click the Gear icon. 100% confirm the install directory is 100% the same as the game path in the Mod Installer. Also make sure the log at the bottom right of the mod installer finishes with "All profiles have '-assetpath assets\mods'".
