  1. Clean out your base storage before you move to another server. 😀 Anything left behind is up for grabs to anyone that remains in the old supergroup or, if no one, it's just lost to oblivion.
  2. You may choose to oversimplify things instead of looking at possibilities, but that's on you.
  3. The only real abuse I can see is stuff like enhancements and salvage and inspirations in bases being duplicated. So it becomes a matter of making sure that such items do not get included as part of a save base file... or if that somehow can't be helped, have such items be ignored when someone uses the "load base file" option in the base editing screen.
  4. The data exists somewhere and gets loaded every time someone goes into a base. I don't buy the explanation of it can only be done manually during server maintenance.
  5. Exactly! Besides, my invulnerable head and neck would be protected from head chopping mishaps. Those who aren't... well, let them use the standard jetpacks and worry about setting themselves on fire.
  6. With all of the tunnels under Paragon, I think it would be easier to build a subterranean city as the second city.
  7. What about an option to save your base so if you want to move from one server to another, you can register your SG there and set up your old base just by loading the design. Enterprising people can choose to share popular designs, and people who want to scrap everything they've built to start over but later regret it can restore things to the way they used to be.
  8. In case it hasn't been said, jetpacks are slower. Yes, only a little, but they are and they can't be enhanced to increase speed or to reduce Endurance cost if you plan on fighting in the air. And on top of that, the rocket board, void skiff, and flying carpets negate all other powers (even toggles which don't have to be animated to be useful instead of just putting the character into a Only Affecting Self state). Leave the various flight temp powers alone. Actual flight powers (Flight and Sorcery pools) are superior.
  9. I love everything about this guy. The name... the costume design... even the axe is perfect.
  10. I did say "eventually." Things are still being reconstructed, such as Faultline, and the force field and other advanced technology is now available... So new updates should start showing such things.
  11. Anyone remember that mod program (I think it was called COH Splasher) that let you change the login screen as well as various signs and textures throughout the game? Is that thing still around, and does it work with Homecoming?

While all of this makes sense in a contemporary architecture discussion, we're looking at reconstruction in the City of Heroes world where teleporters, force fields, and other super science (and magic) effects are fairly commonplace. I can't remember the scene exactly, but there was a scene from one of the Star Trek: TNG movies where they indicate that windows were replaced with force fields. Considering that force field technology is common enough to be used all over with the War Walls, it seems fair to expect that the tech would eventually start to make its into basic architecture.
  14. If the storm clouds can't be made mobile, having a longer duration to set up a row (or ring) of clouds over time would be nice.
  15. Time Bomb fix: increase damage, remove timer, and give it a player detonator so you can trigger it when ready. Maybe setting it can turn it on as a toggle power, and when you turn the toggle off it blows up.
  16. Better a vibe than an outright copy. In keeping with the CoC, I did not follow through creating this character and am displaying the effort just for the funny.

  18. I was going to make this as a Savage Melee / Regen Stalker, but I have enough seasonal characters.
