  1. He's short, too. I call him Safe because he's short and stocky... like an armored box.
  2. There is nothing more unheroic to me than "dying" because I'm not the right hero AT. I'm going to have to disagree with your opinion on this one.
  3. Yeah, I can't deal with that unless it's something that fits the character concept, like how Freakshow use that 1337 spelling stuff in their names. It grates on my mind. Can't deal with adding a period or a dash at the end, either... or how some people use xX (name) Xx or o0 (name) 0o. For me, that's a failed character idea and I have to move on... but doing so leaves me frustrated until I find something new to focus on.
  4. Some more costume ideas I've played around with:
  5. I like 0 Degrees. I know the lack of creativity problem. I get stuck on names because the ones I want are already taken, so I try to squeeze a concept into a different name and I end up feeling frustrated and unhappy with my creative efforts.
  6. Make some of the prestige powers slottable like inherent powers (Brawl, Sprint, the former Fitness pool). No extra slots given out, but if someone wants to make their Ghost Slaying Axe more useful, why not? If someone wants to rely on Beast Run as their travel power because it suits their character theme, why penalize them by not letting them be able to put Endurance reductions in it? The buff pets? How about letting us slot them to boost performance and/or give a defense buff to the pet itself so it can survive a little better?
  7. It's Halloween... so who has candy-themed heroes or villains? Swedish Fish Candy Corn Psionic Melee / Bio Armor Brute Energy Blast / Atomic Manipulation Blaster Show me your sweet tooth.
  8. You're welcome.
  9. I can see lots of use for Tad... but Gravity Falls took the best one:
  10. Another "fun" fail is that there are proximity explosives to the sides of Meinst, and if players run too close to get away from attacking mobs, the explosion can kill the mobs and ruin the badge effort as sure as actively targeting a minion and killing it intentionally.
  11. One more for tonight... Twin Cannons Dual Pistols / Atomic Manipulation Blaster Big guns... heh.
  12. Love it.
  13. I was playing around and came up with a Longbow agent with time manipulation powers... so of course he'd join Ouroboros as a Longbow Mender. I also made a Skulls member who took Superadine to augment his dark powers and ended up as Deathtroll, dark/stone brute. What kind of faction combinations have you made? Any 5th Column Freakshow? Arachnos Circle of Thorns, maybe? Clockwork Hellions?
  14. Mash up time! Longbow Mender Assault Rifle / Temporal Manipulation Blaster
  15. Hot Spell Fire / Thermal Controller
  16. Touchy Feely Street Justice / Regeneration Scrapper (Touchy is the guy in the gimp suit... Feely is the little green goblin in the basket on his back.)
  17. Perfect Soul Radiation / Dark Sentinel
  18. Ancient Elements Ice / Stone Tanker (I'll take Fire as ancillary when I get there, so he'll be able to fight with ice, earth, and fire... air will be the only one missing.)
  19. What do you think of Galavina with your helmet?
  20. If someone wanted to pay homage to this Ryan Reynolds moment and created a hero with an A-hole name or theme, would that be a troublesome incident?
  21. Got the name Teen Violence. Thinking about making a short, unruly stalker. There he is:
  22. The Six Million Dollar Man and Bionic Woman were jumpers. Back in the old school, Wonder Woman was a jumper and had to rely on her invisible jet to fly from place to place. Just as a result of his strength, Marvel's Hercules has been cited as being able to leap 100 feet in the air. Lots of anime characters have ridiculous leaping abilities. The DC/Marvel Amalgam Comics version of Superman & Captain America, Super-Soldier, was a super jumper. Grasshopper, a one-off power suit hero that was killed off pretty quickly was a jumper. Luke Cage and pretty much any hero with super strength is going to be able to super jump, but if they have other more efficient travel powers (like flying or web swinging) then they're more likely to use those.
  23. It was super jump originally in the comics, but it quickly changed to facilitate his travel on screen. https://www.quora.com/When-did-Superman-gain-the-power-to-fly-and-was-there-a-good-explanation
  24. Nice helmet. Might look good on my rad/rad tank.
  25. Ahh yes... ole Butt-Mouth.
