  1. It's Halloween... so who has candy-themed heroes or villains? Swedish Fish Candy Corn Psionic Melee / Bio Armor Brute Energy Blast / Atomic Manipulation Blaster Show me your sweet tooth.
  2. You're welcome.
  3. I can see lots of use for Tad... but Gravity Falls took the best one:
  4. Another "fun" fail is that there are proximity explosives to the sides of Meinst, and if players run too close to get away from attacking mobs, the explosion can kill the mobs and ruin the badge effort as sure as actively targeting a minion and killing it intentionally.
  5. One more for tonight... Twin Cannons Dual Pistols / Atomic Manipulation Blaster Big guns... heh.
  6. Love it.
  7. I was playing around and came up with a Longbow agent with time manipulation powers... so of course he'd join Ouroboros as a Longbow Mender. I also made a Skulls member who took Superadine to augment his dark powers and ended up as Deathtroll, dark/stone brute. What kind of faction combinations have you made? Any 5th Column Freakshow? Arachnos Circle of Thorns, maybe? Clockwork Hellions?
  8. Mash up time! Longbow Mender Assault Rifle / Temporal Manipulation Blaster
  9. Hot Spell Fire / Thermal Controller
  10. Touchy Feely Street Justice / Regeneration Scrapper (Touchy is the guy in the gimp suit... Feely is the little green goblin in the basket on his back.)
  11. Perfect Soul Radiation / Dark Sentinel
  12. Ancient Elements Ice / Stone Tanker (I'll take Fire as ancillary when I get there, so he'll be able to fight with ice, earth, and fire... air will be the only one missing.)
  13. What do you think of Galavina with your helmet?
  14. If someone wanted to pay homage to this Ryan Reynolds moment and created a hero with an A-hole name or theme, would that be a troublesome incident?
  15. Got the name Teen Violence. Thinking about making a short, unruly stalker. There he is:
  16. The Six Million Dollar Man and Bionic Woman were jumpers. Back in the old school, Wonder Woman was a jumper and had to rely on her invisible jet to fly from place to place. Just as a result of his strength, Marvel's Hercules has been cited as being able to leap 100 feet in the air. Lots of anime characters have ridiculous leaping abilities. The DC/Marvel Amalgam Comics version of Superman & Captain America, Super-Soldier, was a super jumper. Grasshopper, a one-off power suit hero that was killed off pretty quickly was a jumper. Luke Cage and pretty much any hero with super strength is going to be able to super jump, but if they have other more efficient travel powers (like flying or web swinging) then they're more likely to use those.
  17. It was super jump originally in the comics, but it quickly changed to facilitate his travel on screen. https://www.quora.com/When-did-Superman-gain-the-power-to-fly-and-was-there-a-good-explanation
  18. Nice helmet. Might look good on my rad/rad tank.
  19. Ahh yes... ole Butt-Mouth.
  20. The mole has the hammer, so more like Whacking Mole.
  21. That second part is what I was thinking, too... AE puts you into a special instanced neighborhood zone of the mission designer's choosing, and then you visit your contact there, then take the appropriate door and that will load you into a mission map. When you leave the mission, you return to your instanced neighborhood zone map and that remains your world until you quit out of the AE team or complete the arc.
  22. Maybe something along the lines of selecting a neighborhood for your story and once you start the mission, you don't just talk to a contact that appears in AE and you pop back into AE between each mission... instead once you start the story you zone into your chosen neighborhood where you have to meet your contact and then travel to a door on that instanced neighborhood map to start your missions. And if you want missions that go beyond that neighborhood, then the door you have to go to would be a transport (tram in Paragon, boat or air ship in Rogue Isles). Planning a safeguard style mission? Have a police van on the map to use as your transport to that. Basically, have at least one door for each type of map entrance needed on these neighborhood maps and then map an option in the mission design so that the creator can assign the map to the chosen door type... but don't be restrictive about it so that an office building door must lead into an office or a police van must take you to a bank robbery. Perhaps the player will want to write their story as the building is cursed with a teleport trap that takes you somewhere else instead of letting you inside or the police van might transport you to a warehouse map for part of a raid. Options.
  23. I love this idea. It would let us each have a "neighborhood" for our heroes (or villains) like many real comic book heroes do. Like how Daredevil is focused on Hell's Kitchen in NYC, and most of his stories take place there.
  24. I've not seen any hint of toxic behavior. But then maybe the article writer had one bad experience and then just chalked that up to the whole community. Who knows, it might also be complete B.S. or a hit job spurred on by those people who criticize the Homecoming team and Leandro. Haters gonna hate, and if they are (or have the ear of) someone from a gaming website of some repute, they might decide to throw some shade just because. My play time with regular friends is rare and most of the time I just get into random groups via the LFG channel, and I've made a couple of friends along the way.
  25. I like both. One is powered down and the other is powered up.
