Careful with the Superman copy ideas with U on the chest because DC has a trademark on this guy, too:

I've brought up Ms. Liberty appearing in 3 or 4 places simultaneously before and recommended that maybe she should be replaced in one or two of those places. Honestly, I think it's a serious disservice to Back Alley Brawler that he got shuffled into the SW corner of Atlas Park after Galaxy City was destroyed. With Liberty appearing all over the place, I think he should have been given the spot in front of City Hall so she could concentrate on the Statesman Task Force in Independence Port. As for that underground base in Atlas Park, I think she should be replaced there, also. Then, one month out of the year (February) she can appear in two locations at once with the Pocket D Valentines Day event stuff.

Incorrect. You cannot trademark common words, as in anything found in the dictionary. So despite DC having a character named Firestorm, they don't own a trademark for the name... just his likeness. "Phantom," "ghost," and "captain" are all common words recognized as public domain and thus cannot be trademarked. Trademarking words can be anything made up (I know, they're all made up). If a slang word does not appear in a recognized published source of common words, such as a dictionary, it could very well be fair game. This is why Superman is one word instead of two. "Super" and "Man" are both common words, but "Superman" is a made up word by jamming two words together into one, and thus trademarkable and off limits.

Just playing around with names on Torch and I discovered that Holo Hobo is available... in case anyone wants to make a homeless illusion controller.

Some names I was surprised to get when I started playing on Excelsior, although now my friends play on Torch and I can't move them over because they're already taken: Battle Babe Beat Blixt Blood Mage Bricks Cheater Crafter Crazy Train Dervish Destined One Expert F-Bomb First Flood Glory Hammer Headstrong Hotness Legendary Mighty One Omnipotence Origin Pact Peerless Poledancer Spine Struggle Sunder Superstition Upgrade Violence Windbreaker If you have any of the highlighted ones on Torch and want to move to Excelsior, I'd be happy to trade. The ones that aren't highlighted I ended up making different versions of on Torch or just stopped playing for now but haven't quite given up on, so apologies but they haven't been released back into the pool yet. Could be open for negotiation, however, if I need to sweeten the pot on on of the highlighted names.

Here's an idea I had back in Spring, looking ahead to Independence Day... but never go around to making her because I didn't know what AT and power sets to go with.

I really enjoy the origin powers at low levels and wish they could remain somewhat relevant as I level up. Even if they're inferior like Brawl is compared to other attacks, you can at least slot Brawl and make it a little better.
