I think the aggro changes were a solution looking for a legit problem. Fire farmers will adapt, even if the influence earned is half now etc. But when people just want to actively play, I think people will have issues. The long terms downsides will likely outweigh .... whatever the justification was supposed to be. But whatever, it is what it is.

I was dying at first, but I found a workaround for now without changing my build. Just standing in a different place to keep the over-aggro-cap enemies down. Then it was fine.

I'll either come up with an alternate solution (I have some ideas) or return to battle maiden or other various big maps I guess. -

This looks like a great set. I cant wait to do a Dark / Sonic Assault dominator. -

Is this change intended to kill the Meteor Map or other open map farming? It seems highly targeted to do that. Anyway, I can think of ways around it, so I guess the silver lining is that it will be fun figuring out a new meta for AFK farming. -

Symphony/Storm is my first Symphony Control character I plan to play also, because I'm a stormie. I cant wait for all of this. -

I have a question. If I'm the only player in the map and i have more than the aggro-cap number of foes around me, they will ALL attack now, right? Or did I misunderstand. -

This change smacks of judgement for BADWRONGFUN. This change won't make me do other level 50 content, because in addition to farming, I already do the other level 50 content I want to do .... usually solo, sometimes with a real-life friend. So all this will do is probably make me farm to 50 and then door-sit or auto-follow in the most bare minimum amount of "APPROVED NOT-BADWRONGFUN" content such that I get 1 vet level to unlock cardiac. Why do this? I'm already playing the content I want to play. This change will only make me adjust to some other stuff I actually want to do, or just play less. But you know, whatever I guess. Part of the fun of farming for me is the project aspect of it all, kind of like how we used to build customized rushers in Diablo 2, or etc. So maybe it will be entertaining to find another way to farm and another build that becomes the new meta. I find "purpose-built" projects more fun than teaming with people I dont otherwise want to team with just so that I can get an incarnate Ion Blast for giggles, or whatever. Best wishes and no ill-intent. Just figured I'd add to the thread. -
I hate these SR suggestions. Maybe hate is a strong word. But i like the powers as they are now, I like the toggles being delayed, and i like having the 3 passives that I dont have to slot much and i like the sets that I can put into them, and I'm not interested in losing that. I would flat out delete my 8 or so SR characters if these changes happened. SR is my favorite armor/def set in the game.

I always wanted a Storm Summoning / Super Strength character.

I appreciate all the work that went into the patch. I like the changes overall. My favorite change is Energy melee for scrappers. Super fun! The only change I dont like is the reduction in hold time on EMP Arrow from the Trick Arrow set. I actually used it for the hold, so it seems quite weak now (for what I want to use it for). My Earth/TA controller won't miss the 12 to 13 seconds of AoE hold duration, because Earth/anything is a control beast. But I may respec out of it on a few of my /TA masterminds and take something else. All the other changes are either good, or good on paper, to the degree that I understand them. Overall, its an A+ patch for me.

I somehow replied to the wrong thread. Getting old. Edited to clear it out. :)

Solarverse's SFX Consolidated List of Mods

Thanks! I'll check it out. I have to get the tool to get the files, I believe? I'll do that later tonight after I do dinner and etc. Thanks very much! -

Wow, I wasnt sure you were offering, but I appreciate it. While the idle barking is irritating, what really annoyed me was all the howls, which mainly seemed to come during combat. I didnt mind that low "spectral indigestion" sound it makes, its really the howls. -
Focused Feedback: Trick Arrow Revamp

It has nothing to do with laziness. The power works and feels better as-is. If they can make macro buttons: a) show the cooldown / availability on the button b) not fail to activate 10% of the times, as happens often Then it would be worth considering for me. If anything, I think Disruption Arrow and Oil Slick Arrow should be foe-targeted. -

Ok, I went to remind myself and .... yes, all the sounds are frustrating. In particular all the howls. So maybe everything. 🙂 -

Look, you want it to be a placed object on the ground, I want it to hit a targeted foe. We have a different opinion. Lets just move on. -

Like the target of the arrow, aka an enemy. Or a friend, I dont care. But I like the tab targeting for it. If you don't hey fine. I'm just voting the other way. -

I'm not sure. I'd have to dig out my Dark/Storm and remind myself. But in theory, all of them. 🙂 I think it was the constant howling and barking, not sure if that's specific enough. Like, when I'm not fighting. -

Solarverse, is it the case that to get the mods I have to have the tool? Was just wondering. I sometimes like installing files by hand. But more important, is there a mod that completely blanks out the sound of the Umbra Beast, rather than replacing it? Thanks very much. -
Focused Feedback: Trick Arrow Revamp
PorkTips replied to Jimmy's topic in [Open Beta] Focused Feedback
I dont think an arrow should place a fountain of glue that showers from a specific spot. 🙂 It should hit something and explode. If they made it able to hit the environment by making it just target in front of you somehow (like the Nature healing cone) then maybe it would make sense. Anyway, I guess whatever happens, happens. Cheers! 🙂 -

What? I hate location based powers as it is, I like glue arrow being targeted. I dont need yet another power I have to make a target_location macro for! -
Focused Feedback: Energy Melee Revamp
PorkTips replied to Jimmy's topic in [Open Beta] Focused Feedback
Right, its the jumping trickery and whatnot that I generally dont like about cones. I dont like moving in and out of melee to leverage them, so I mostly skip them. I do take them on characters who live on the fringe of melee, but I dont enjoy them at all on melee ATs (unless they are the tight cones, and even then I just treat them as singe target attacks where sometimes I get lucky). So I'm happy to be able to still skip this power. Its nice when sets have skippable powers so I can pick up other things I want. But this is cool I guess for most people, so its all good. Thanks all. -
Focused Feedback: Energy Melee Revamp

Sorry if I'm slow on the uptake, but is Power Crash just a damage cone? I never had Stun in my build, and I'm not a fan of cones unless most of my AOEs are cones. So I'm thinking I wont have to respec my INV/Energy Melee tank at all. I dont see any huge reason to pick it up. Which is fine. Just wanted to make sure I'm correct in understanding it.
