A very busy night on Excel tonight with 6 teams going. Many thanks to our team leads, @Oterra (Numina TF), Focused Eagle (Katie Hannon TF), I think it was @Shanawdithit that lead (Dr Aeon SF), and @Agoogala & @Ultraamann for leading the other 2 mission teams.

 

Dec 10th Tanker Tuesday will be on Torch. Cavern of Transcedence and Dr Kahn will be the WST. Meet in Kings Row on the wall by the IP gate. 6:00 pm PT / 9:00 pm ET.

We started with a Zombie invasion and a Kronos Titan (tank you to whoever brought that!). Then off to the normal fun and games (TFs and missions). I was on "X's" Numina's TF team and with a mild glitch (logging off and back on (whole team). No real issues.

A mostly fun night on Torch tonight. with 18 tanks we started in Lord Winter's Realm, but unfortunately were not able to take him down.

After that we had a couple of mission teams, Thank you for leading those @MsAligned and @Warboss, and a 6 tanker team ran a Kahn TF with me. It took us 1:20 of which 40 minutes were the final boss fight...  Remind me not to do that again.

 

December 17th will see us back on Everlasting. 6:00 pm PT / 9:00 pm ET. Respecs will be the WST.

Saturday December 21st we will be on Reunion. 9:30 am PT / 12:30 pm PT / 5:30 pm CET

That was the kind of final boss fight that makes me want to just make baby tanks for TT and tag along on mish teams, hiding behind the 50's and raking in the XP. Much less painful that way.

Well, 6 Tanks for that TF was a bit ambitious, but kudos for you all for taking it on and completing it!  And although being an XP sponge every now and then is fine, we do need our veteran players to help assist with running the teams, giving advice to others, and the event in general. Thanks to all (players and leaders) that help keep the event going!

A Tanking good time was had tonight with 3 teams running, hi-lited by a mission team lead by @Warboss and a FreakSpec lead by @PLVRIZR and thanks to those that joined me on the Sky Raider Respec. The night started with beating up a Paladin and a Winter Lord that Warboss had wrangled for us. Alas my lens cap was on all night, so no pics of said festivities.

 

This Saturday, December 21st,  the Tanker Tuesday Tour will be on Reunion, so bring your */Bio tanks if you are still working on them, will likely decide what the 2025 theme will be that day as well. Meet up in Kings Row as usual, 9:30am PT/12:30pm ET/6:30pm CET.

 

December 24th Tanker Tuesday will run on Indomitable. Understandably, most people will be otherwise engaged this evening, but I will run something for anyone that feels like showing up or needs to avoid family that night. Possibly some festive Roman punching.  6:00 pm PT / 9:00 pm ET in Kings Row in the usual spot.

It was good seeing everyone one again. @Agoogala brought Pali, @wittylibrarian and I found the WL and brought him over, it was a team effort. 🙂

My pleasure and we had a blast.  Seven tanks took on the +6 Freaks (at least at the end) and saved the reactor in 52 minutes.  Much mayhem and leveling was had.

Well, it is Christmas Eve but also still a Tuesday, that means there will be some Tankering to be done tonight and Indomitable is the server in rotation for tonight.

Will start to the league as usual in Kings Row tonight ( 6:00 pm PT / 9:00 pm ET) and see how many show. My plan is to run a Festive Imperious Task Force, possibly a 1 or 2 star hard mode depending on the make up of the team.

An interesting time tonight on Indom as we had one team of tankers who took on a 1 star Hard Mode ITF as we heard Romulus had kidnapped Santa Claus.

We triumphed over the nictus though with a meager 136 deaths in 2 hours to complete. Many thanks to those that joined on that tonight.

 

December 31st will be the next Tanker Tuesday. Will be running an Instanced MSR on Excel that night. Will be forming it up 1 hour earlier than normal so east coast people can get to other festivities than night. 5:00 pm PT / 8:00 pm ET. Meet in Kings Row and we will launch from there.

Tonight we finished off the Tanker Tuesday Tour for 2024 with a Mothership Raid on Excelsior.

With 29 tankers involved, we rang in the New Year by kicking the Rikti back off the planet (again).

Faced with that much pure Tankage, U'Kon Gr'ai took off running. We chased him down on the top of the ship and whipped his ass there for a change.

 

 

After we finished with them, we made sure to get rid of the Dropship as well, with @wittylibrarian getting the kill shot on it.

 

While most tankers left to attend to festivities, a small group stayed to do Apex and Tin Mage II a favour by taking out Battle Maiden and then Neuron & Bobcat.

Many thanks to those that stayed for that.

 

Next Tanker Tuesday will be January 7th on Excelsior. Synapse and Sara Moore will be the WST.

Meet up in Kings Row by the IP Gate.  6:00 pm PT / 9:00 pm ET

Hey all, before things got "interesting" @Ronin_Around and I were discussing the next Tanker "Challenge Sets". Originally I had though of Ice/Rad, but upon leveling one I discovered it was not particularly fun. So... we've decided on Stone Armor/*weapon as our next "Challenge Sets" which we'll be starting the next TT on Indom (1/23). No claws, Spines or Savage Melee.

Secondaries to choose from would be:

Battle Axe

Broad Sword

Dual Blades

Katana

Staff

Titan Weapons

War Mace

 

Also we're going to shoot for an all Shield ITF(s) on Torch... so get your toons ready for that as well!

Okay, got mine built and ready to go on Indom. Toons will be starting at level 0. We'll still meet in King's Row at the usual place. After the meet up we'll get teams set and DFB. From there the next goal will be to finish missions in King's or Hallows. After which (maybe not the same meeting), we'll get leveled up to run all the TFs. Posi first ("X" will be leading).
