Heraclea Posted October 7, 2019 Posted October 7, 2019 Currently 'Master of' badges for task forces and trials are exclusively for the highest level content in the game. The Master Of badges for stuff like the Miss Liberty, Kahn, Lady Grey, and Imperious TFs require no deaths and no temp powers. The incarnate TF and trial badges are a bit easier, because they basically require you to collect all the badges available for them, and some of these are mutually inconsistent and require multiple runs. They don't have to be acquired in one go. While these Master badges are awarded for significant achievement, I think that earning them on a Posi 1, 2, or Synapse would be an even more impressive feat. I think there should be Master badges for all of the Freedom Phalanx task forces, and maybe for things like the abandoned sewer and Eden trials as well. And they should not be exclusive to the highest level content, if only because the earlier game content is in many ways a better test of player skill. 1 1 QVÆ TAM FERA IMMANISQVE NATVRA TB ~ Amazon Army: AMAZON-963 | TB ~ Crowned Heads: CH-10012 | EX ~ The Holy Office: HOLY-1610 | EV ~ Firemullet Groupies: FM-5401 | IN ~ Sparta: SPARTA-3759 | RE ~ S.P.Q.R. - SPQR-5010 Spread My Legions - #207 | Lawyers of Ghastly Horror - #581 | Jerk Hackers! - #16299 | Ecloga Prima - #25362 | Deth Kick Champions! - #25818 | Heaven and Hell - #26231 | The Legion of Super Skulls - #27660 | Cathedral of Mild Discomfort - #38872 | The Birch Conspiracy! - #39291
Call Me Awesome Posted October 7, 2019 Posted October 7, 2019 Huh, hadn't thought of that but I don't see any reason why not so sure... some people really like their Mo badges. nihilii Posted October 7, 2019 Posted October 7, 2019 While I have no problem with the suggestion, I can't remember the last time I saw someone die on a Freedom Phalanx TF.

Haha, I'm not sure I agree with the "incarnate TF and trial badges are a bit easier" part in comparison with MLTF, LGTF, etc. But that moot point aside, I 100% agree that more "mo" badges would be cool! If not added to current trials (e.g. sewer), then maybe to other added trials in the future.

For stuff like Citadel and Penelope Yin this may be true; after you get to SO levels things get easier. But I would be quite surprised to see everyone live on Posi 1, especially in the last mission, and have seen many team wipes there. Lazarillo Posted October 7, 2019 Posted October 7, 2019 I give it an "eh, I guess". I don't particularly enjoy the 50-TF "master" badges, though. "No deaths" doesn't say "mastery" to me, it says "tiptoeing and not pushing yourself". I think it'd be cooler if they worked more like the iTrials and you had certain bonus objectives (perhaps each with badges of their own, perhaps not) tied to winning them, to truly show your ability. 1

DreadShinobi Posted October 7, 2019 Posted October 7, 2019 I would like to see a few badges added for each tf: One badge for not dying/no temps. One to three badge for completing the tf at bronze/silver/gold time challenges. Maybe just for a gold time challenge. Maybe a badge for completing tfs by yourself, since they can all now be started solo. Currently on fire.

It's completely your call if you want to tip toe around everything or still go all out and get the badge anyways. Currently on fire.
Vanden Posted October 7, 2019 Posted October 7, 2019 (edited) I really don't see the need to add more badges like this into the game. I don't enjoy getting Master badges, and it's annoying enough to get the ones we have.
