Download (keybinds.txt) -> Move file to City of Heroes directory -> enter this in-game: "/bindload" and if installed properly this should install the CoH Binds on your character. (See Update CoH.txt for extra binds or macros!)

Repeat on each character (as wanted) and enjoy!

 

Press Right-Control key to see time, ensure successful installation, move on-to your next character, repeat until installed on all characters

or as needed.

I was able to get your profile working in xmodder, but I'm not sure what to do with the binds. Are they supposed to be used with xmodder as well? Can you post simple instructions for getting everything going for controller use?

I have found a really great bind (or macro) for finding citizens that need rescuing on those huge outdoor maps. It targets them, and baddies also.

(I bound it to my ESC key so I can fly and hit it over and over while I scan the perimeter. I think I may bind to TAB, though)

That was what I started with, eventually I expanded it to include R, F, space and X. A bit overkill, I realised now that I don't have three skills that I need to auto-run.

It works only one key at a time though, no groups

I reccommend having a "bindload" key bind.  It is easier then typing /bindload

And I love the manage keybind, very handy.

I wanted the face keybind to be Shift+F, but that turns on follow.  Follow is scary for blasters.

BTW, the DOWN arrow shuts off Athletuc Run because sometimes it gets out of sync.

I have a similar bind which used to work a couple of years back on Homecoming.
But now that I have returned, the bind seems to fail to load the file.

Do I need to add that UnBindAll thing at the top of the file with my toon's keybinds to get the bindloadfile command to load the new keybind?

 

 

I spent a while playing with the process.
Originally, I was originally loading a bindfile which has only a single line in it.

And much like what you are doing, the bind in the file executed the taunt power, said the taunt aloud in local, and then loaded the next taunt to read aloud. 

Then I tried switching to loading a whole bindfile instead of just a single line file.

 

Then I tried switching everything I was doing over to the default keybinds.txt so I could see if plain old /bindload worked any better.

It didn't

 

I did notice that turning off logging changed one of the error and debug messages.

While logging was on I received this message

Keybinds file loaded: d:/Games/HC/accounts/<toon name>/Logs/chatlog 2025-01-10

 

 

I'd love to get this working again.
I hope the issue is something simple I just haven't tried yet.
