Dominator IO- Chance for fiery orb

Has anyone used this IO and can say what it does/looks like?

I have it slotted into my fire cages on my Fire/Psi.

 

It is interesting, it is not controllable and if you cast while not in or around mobs it does nothing for you. I found that if I cast while in the middle of a pack and it procs it does a decent amount of dmg

it is worth giving a go, killed off 2 LTs while I was working on a boss. Pretty neat little flavor added .

It is a (very temporary) pet. It spawns on you and takes a lil bit to track down what it wants to go sit next to and burn. You'll wanna be in the thick of it when casting whatever it's slotted in to get the most use possible.

UPDATE!!

 

So i finally got my Dom to 50 and slotted an attuned fiery orb on the AoE immobilization power.

 

It can proc multiple fiery orbs in one use of the power!!

 

The most I've seen is like 3 at once, they popped out and ran to separate targets to burn them.

Any chance you can post a pic of what the orbs look like? I presume thr colour doesn't match the power used

Link to screenshot of 3 spawned at once. 2 on the mob and 1 that just spawned on me; They spawn at your location and then run out.

 

Damage is pretty low. They were doing ticks of 11 damage roughly every 2 seconds to even level mobs at lvl 50 on the test server.
