I'm really happy you worked in a Variety Act run for us. I'd like to bring a scrapper, but am flexible on switching to fill a different role if we need it. I've actually got quite a few characters who've never done an ITF so don't have the badge! The reason I picked her is that she's at L48.5 and what better way to hit 50 than old school during an ITF?!

EDIT: Switching to ATOMIC ZEPHYR - Storm Blast / Atomic Blaster. She still needs some more incarnate action...

 

That being said, if anybody else wants this spot who knows they can run, I am happy to stand back this week and stay on standby.

I have been thinking a bit about themes and looked at stuff we haven't done yet, or not done in a long while... ATs, Powersets, Costume themes and such.

Came up with a few that I would like to throw in here for future reference:

 

- "Mutate This!": Professional Grade Gene-Alterations with Radiation/Radioactive, Bio/Nature and Poison powersets. Appropriate costumes required.

 

- "Nippon Tales": Costumes of historic japanese lore, e.g. Samurais, Ninjas, Geishas, Nature Spirits, Noblemen and -Women... you get it. Just costumes, no requirements on ATs and powers.

 

- "Spectral Champions": Spectrum Body type required (feel free to add other costume elements around it, but the spectral body shall be visible). Could add another rainbow theme to it, everybody pick a different colour. Any AT / powers.

 

- "Gangs of Paragon": Street Thugs Powers: Street Justice, War Mace, Staff Fighting, Martial Arts. Thugs Masterminds obviously qualify, too. Appropriate costumes, make'm look mean!

 

- "Brute Force of Fury": Just Brutes... (not sure if we had that yet, but sounded like an AT that we hadn't been focussing on since a long while at least, or only togther with Tankers). How about making this an Orcs&Goblins Costumes theme?

 

- "In the Army now": Military combat uniforms, powersets anything rifles, pistols, knives (including Mercs MMs obviously).

 

I may think up a few more over time, but put those on the record for now.

Here are our themes for February:

• 1 Feb - “Shardtober Revenge” - Ms. Liberty TF (Ms. Liberty, Level 45-50) - Any powers/ATs; Soldiers of Rularuu or Storm Elementals costumes
• 8 Feb - “Brute Force of Fury” - The Eden Trial (Woodsman, Level 39-41) - All Brutes, any costume (Thanks for the idea, @Bananiac!)
• 15 Feb - “Rikti Infiltration” - The Lady Grey TF (Lady Grey, Level 35-50) - Rikti costumes with matching weapon-based powerset
• 22 Feb - “The Explodables” - The Fire and the Flames (Mortimer Kal, Level 20-40) - All Blasters (Mirror Image badge run), action star costumes

I will be skipping next week since I'm not a fan of kheld forms, though I might be around if you guys do a non-theme run after since Yin is a pretty short TF.

 

I will also probably not be around for most of February and part of March since Girl Scout cookie season starts in our area Feb 10 and Saturdays will be spent at booths (unless I manage to get booth slots later in the day).

If it's forms you're not a fan of, maybe that can be relaxed.  All Warshades is specific enough for a theme.

I would feel super weird if y'all changed the theme just for me. 😅 Like, this is the theme y'all wanted and I don't want to muck with it just because I'm a weirdo who doesn't like kheld forms lol. If I had the time, I'd roll up a shade to use for the theme, but I've been super busy with work and just don't find the forms fun.
