Chris Jenkins, the ambulance chaser lawyer who has his face plastered all over billboards needs to be an NPC. And the Capn Kraken Seafood Restaurant needs to have a Capn Kraken mascot out front advertising the seafood. And who is Elena, the model advertised in Galaxy City? And what kind of movie premier is going on in Atlas Park? So many little lore bits. I love this game.

If I ever clear some projects off my plate, another one I want to do is to get a team together to collect all the lore bits we can about the various in-game companies, stores, restaurants, et cetera to help flesh out the Wiki with greater detail.  Get some screenshots and the like.  Maybe a list of all the City of Gyros or El Super Mexicanos.  All that great stuff!

I wonder how possible it would be to create one or several of such locations that you could enter? Like an easter egg type thing. Or maybe there is a contact in there that you have to meet for lunch?

. . . why you tempt me like this, @Turric?  I'm not ready yet!

That's treading very close to an element of my Magnum Opus plan for a City of Heroes expansion.  Naturally, it's somewhat obscene in how grandiose it would be, and it would require a full-time (and appropriately remunerated development team), but meeting Contacts in building interiors would definitely be an integral component.

For some of this it could be done with the base editor and a passcode. It would be interesting to be able to have the El Super Mexicanos Dining room a Passcode away. The RPers would have a field day with a Restaurant Code list. After that if the Devs could find a way to have the Actual Restaurant door trigger the base code.....perfection.

So much I agreed with this that I didn't wait and made him an NPC for my AE stuff, giving him offices all over Paragon and the Rogue Isles!

This is a brilliant idea.
