Darkir Posted October 21, 2020 Posted October 21, 2020 (edited) Does Assassin's strike use the long 3 second activation time or the 1 second activation time in proc calculations? Does it change the calculation based on when I use it (in combat or hidden)? I can't seem to find the answer anywhere and it would change my slotting for my SM/DA build I'm working on. Edit: also does rending flurry from savage melee use the 15 ft aoe or the 8 ft? Edited October 22, 2020 by Darkir 1
Vanden Posted October 23, 2020 Posted October 23, 2020 I imagine they'd use the radius and activation time of whichever variant you're using at the moment. A Cheat Sheet for efficient Endurance Recovery slotting Invention Set Designer Tool Spreadsheet with every Ancillary Power Pool
carroto Posted December 15, 2020 Posted December 15, 2020 I don't have it handy but at one point a dev stated that snipes and AS use the values for whichever variant of the attack you're using, fast or slow, to calculate proc chances. So your proc chances will be higher for the slow versions. Make your own proc chance charts
Hedgefund Posted December 26, 2020 Posted December 26, 2020 I don't keep up to date on all the forum goings on so I know this was posed months ago but I still found the question interesting when I read it just now. I searched the Proc guide and found this: This doesn't specifically mention AS cast times but I'm hoping the same logic would apply. Bottom line - this confirms what carroto says and may well be the dev comment they referred to. 1
