Staff Fighting pro's & con's

So I rolled a staff/invulnerable broot, was wondering if anyone had some insight into how it performs?

Any downside? Not looking for a build, just want info from someone who has played one.

Aoe is pretty good. Guarded Spin is great. Crazy-assed disco spin is great, especially with 3 Stacks, although the animation may irk you. Ankle biter is mediocre.

 

Some of the modes aren't as good for Brutes (the +dam one is meh for you). The Endurance one is a godsend. 

 

Single target isn't great but the tier 9 with 3 Stacks is pretty decent. 

 

Constant redraw is a total pain, there's no "no draw" costume option and you really feel it.

Yeah was wondering about the redraw. Was going to go soul for the recov/regen on skysplitter anyways.

Yeah the disco animation is funny....maybe I'll redo as a disco guy lol.

There is a distinctly different animation if you are flying (sort of a whirlwind twirl); might fit some character concepts, such as celestial beings, who permanently hover.

It's a lot better on Stalkers. You get Build Up and you get to have Form of the Body at all times without spending a power on it.

+Assassins Stick (or whatever it's called). 

 

My Staff/NRG Brute is great and all but I'm always like "Why didn't I make you a stalker. You're even see-thru!"
