I thought about this combo as well, but then I thought of the endurance nightmare it'd be, especially with both arctic air and mud pots running. Sounds really fun with ageless running though. Or did you manage to get endurance under control some other way? I'm playing with ice/psi like some others have mentioned, although still low level with mine. Should take care of endurance issue fairly early and the regen making it even tankier. Not to mention it making AV's easier to deal with. Less damage than savage or earth I imagine though. It just got a whole lot better with this, but (for example) I don't have cold snap, and only one recharge in ice patch. I took mine out last night for an old fashioned +4/x8 ITF and it was glorious. In the ambush in the first scene all the bosses seemed to be dominated most of the time (I was running world of confusion and would often get two dominates). There was a plant controller as well, and quite often the elite bosses would be confused What changes would you make? is it worth slotting a little damage in ice patch? This is the first of my builds I will look at with the changes, mainly because I read there is a new difficulty level and I want to try that on max safely. I think with tweeking this is the best contender for that. After I mess around with this one I will look at my fire/kin....might continue my idea of making it an elec/kin. With the changes to arctic air I don't think we need world of confusion unless we are trying to stack confuse with another dominator/controller in higher star games. This has the abiilty to kind of deal with the extreme end drain of arctic air at lower levels as well. Our s/l resistance is severely diminished though, we essentially traded that for sleet and icestorm (worth it in my opinion). We also went damage for our alpha and confuse for interface (just for elite bosses really or the aforementioned 2-4 star TFs). @Frosticusis this how you like Call Hawk? So my newest iteration uses proc'd out vicious slash, proc'd out call hawk, and proc'd out feral charge to do considerable damage and have the FF +100% recharge proc up almost all the time. I go with ice slick over ice storm for the extra mitigation at the beginning of a spawn when solo before everything is confused, feel free to exchange them. Sleet is a huge damage boost for you and your whole team, but we do lose a significant amount of resistance, with everything still being confused though I think its very worth it. I also dont have to monitor mind link this way, which is a big plus. Varying power level selection and four slotting Maiming Slash with Kinetic Combat. L30 now and picked up Feral Charge, and build is rounding into shape very nicely. Bellicose Posted July 6, 2023 Share Posted July 6, 2023 @Darkir - Out of curiosity (and because I'm planning on updating my Ice/Dark Dom), did you slot the Artillery in Ice Slick because the damage now makes it worth slotting or were you just chasing Ranged Defense?
