Help with a build idea.

I'm not sure if there us a better place for this query, if so delete this and i can repost.

 

I'm returning to the game since its original incarnation ended and I've forgotten lots of things.

 

I'm trying to build out a character called

Wasteland

 

I'm thinking tough very strong and poisonous/radioactive. I really like the titan weapon concrete mallet from an aesthetic point of view. 

 

The character is supposed to be a literal animated wasteland, full of scrapheaps, sludge, and toxic radiation...

 

Anyone have suggestions on power sets and an archetype? I'm thinking melee maybe with some ability give off radiation/poison.

Sounds like a Rad/TW Tanker to me.  Or swap the powersets and go Brute, since you can run them blueside these days.  And welcome home 🙂   I'm Gourdhead on Excelsior, send me a tell in game, I have a housewarming gift for you.

Bio Armour would also be a good thematic / visual choice. Easy to recolour, lumpy and gross :), weird offgassing...

Yes, Tank, Brute or Scrapper AT's come to mind with Rad or Bio armor paired with Titan Weapons.  War Mace might work to with some of its 'mace' choices.  And I think /Shield has a trash can lid as a shield option and some one way more costume proficient than myself may have ideas about altering the rest.  For some playing with costumes is as much a game as the rest.

So i decided on brute, i went titan weapon for my primary and secondary went with rad armor. 

 

Any other things i should note for future progression?

Sounds fun.  I have a rad/rad tank.

You'll want the Fighting pool for Tough.  Aside from that.... I dunno.  Radiation armor is a really good set.

i was going to type this so i guess i will second it.  although i saw someone write bio armor.  rad is beautiful, bio armor is fugly.  it sounds like you want fugly, so...
