Homecoming Server Background Information

Recommended Posts

This can apply to either the current forum website or on HC: Wiki - could a background section that explains a little bit of any relevant information on how the server started, the folks who helped make it happen, decisions that were made, that sort of thing. Basically just a quick this is who we are and what we are doing type thing.

It could be placed up top next to the [Browse] [Activity] [Account Center][FAQ] etc....

Nice idea, but I'd perhaps avoid posting the "founding of" until all the NCSOFT stuff (finally) allows for an official approval of said servers.

The only problem with this request is that there was a LOT of drama going on at the time. Bad things were done, hurtful things were said... Re-treading the goings on, and who was involved, and who may or may not have done what, the WHYS of some of these events... It's stuff we don't need to dwell on. But unfortunately, there's no way to truthfully retell these events withOUT bringing these things up. From the moment SCoRE was revealed, to the coming together and splintering of groups, to various parties jockeying for recognition and developers... We got our home back, but it cost us (the CoH community) our soul.

And that's just the preamble!

I'm not asking for an 'about us' section that resembles a drama, just some background and future direction in a convenient location (either the HC Wiki or on this forum). I'd leave it up to the HC volunteers to figure out what was appropriate.
