Voltak Posted March 12, 2021 Author Posted March 12, 2021 I am desperate to get CoH to work This game is the love of my life next to my kids

Yeah, this is in the wrong forum grouping, but I left that alone unless someone wanted to move it. I want to do whatever works, I will try one or the other. I will try both and see what sticks You feel me ?

However we are now at this other point If you get one of these, try moving the /Applications/coh folder somewhere else and then running the installer. Let it create what it needs to, and then let the HC Launcher install and download what it needs. After that, copy your extra files back (costumes, etc). Mac expert and designer of LaunchCat. Well the HC Launcher is much easier to deal with for sure, so go back to the older M1 guide. Delete the Applications/coh folder and Applications/Island Rum.app before proceeding with the install. I'm confident in That guide being pretty clear to follow. That said, I Know there is at least one configuration file somewhere as the game has been remembering local settings even after I do that in the HC Launcher.
