LFG tab useful anywhere?

I'm not a full-time player and prefer to log in occasionally, and to stick to my Incarnate toons. I've noticed that, at least on Everlasting, the LFG doesn't get used for high level TFs. Council teams and DFB always represented, but I can no longer find groups to run high level content with. I'm not really interested in joining a SG. Just want to find some people to play with in PUGs. Any suggestions? Is there a new tab to add?

The LFG tab is used mostly for trials. It's also a useful tool for teleporting around (pick a TF with it, lock team to yourself, and queue up, it will port you to the contact). 

 

The Looking For Group chat is the general way to find TFs and such. What server are you on? On excelsior the looking for group chat is always busy.

I'm on Everlasting. There are things run off the LFG, I just find very, very little in the way of high level content for PUGs.

Join the channel "Everlasting TFs" I think it's called... And form your own teams too!

Have you thought about doing either of these 2 things?
1. Form your own trial, like a baf. You don't really need instructions, most folks know this one backwards and sideways. If not, and you don't know - read the guides in the forums here. It's fairly simple. 
2. Simply state in lfg chat, "Casual incarnate player looking for incarnate content".

Oh, the "Teleport me to Lady Grey so I can do some crafting" tab?

 

Although it's also useful as a "get my alt to Cimorea for that ITF" button to avoid drifting across Steel.

This.  That is the correct channel name (don't forget the S at the end) and there is stuff going on all the time.

The channel MotD will tell you what high level content is scheduled each day.  A typical week day has a Master run for a TF that caps at level 50 (Lady Grey, Kahn, Recluse, etc), followed by two incarnate trials going for badges.

 

There's also a bunch of Hami raids and additional fast iTrials (BAF or Lambda) when things go fast enough to leave time in the schedule.
