Seeking advice to help improve my bots/traps/mu

I have had a build on the back burner for a bots/traps/mu and I was wondering if this build is good enough to solo with on the 2/4 settings and maybe higher. I would like to know which aoe attack would be better to use static discharge or photon nade.  I took mu this time to have a mix of res/def and for the cages from mu.  This build I would to use for soloing and team task forces

 

I just need to know what can I do to improve this build. On paper the build looks good and I know a few powers might be over slotted   and I would like to know what is the better way to slot poison trap and acid mortar. On acid mortar I put 4 slotted with 2 recharges lady grey proc and achilles heel proc PT has basilisks gaze 5 slotted.

Your pets will be gasping on fumes with little to no end recovery. 

 

The Reactive Defense unique would bump up resistances. Drop an Unbreakable Guard IO in Tough and slot RD in another power. F/C/T/P res will be up +3%, E/N will be up 0.75% and S/L will remained capped with that change.

 

Jam in Maneuvers. Your pets are below softcap on everything (Except for AoE), though most of the time they probably won't need it.

 

FFG is adding around +15% def; Protector Bots are adding around +15% def as well. You should be softcap without the def set bonuses from Enfeebled Operation.

Start investing in Hamidon Enhancements to really jam in all the IOs you can into your bots.

im not filling out mids because it takes too long to answer a question.  I took caltrops at level 30, because not much use before your assaultbot gets the level 32 upgrade.  aid other got lots of use, but not much at higher levels.  aid self is a waste and ill fix it somehow somewhere sometime.  maybe.  probably.  take maneuvers early

 

Drones:  acc/dmg hamisx2, blood mandate acc/dmg/end, exp. reinforcement: resist aura, call to arms: def aura, sudden accel KB2KD

Prot bots: acc/dmg hamisx2, overwhelming force: kb2kd, 2 end/def hamis, 1 lotg 7.5%

Assault:  acc/dmg hamisx2, Mark of Supremacy: acc/dmg/end, Mark of Supremacy: resist aura, edict: def aura, sudden accel: kb2kd

 

Wish I had the room for the other resist aura but oh well

And the AoE def aura was not needed

Notwithstanding the set bonuses from Basilisk's Gaze, Poison Trap is autohit and doesn't even accept accuracy enhancements. Recharge, EndRed and Hold are the only attributes that can be enhanced. You could 2-slot with recharge IOs or frankenslot with 2-3 recharge/hold IOs.

Actually Poison Trap isn't as auto-hit as you think. The initial 'burst' isn't auto-hit, only the pulses are Its explained more here:

Re: Medicine power pool vs any other healing/mitigation

 

I personally find that the Sorcery Pool, with Spirit Ward is better at keeping my pets alive then a one off heal. The toggle aspect of Spirit Ward, and the up front absorb helps with incoming damage, and it can turn into a fire and forget power pretty easily.

 

Also the +hp/+end Pangea proc in triage beacon also helps a lot, as it can proc on anything in range

That may be, but the power doesn't accept accuracy enhancements. It may allow you to slot a Hold set IO that includes accuracy, but fairly certain it won't increase the power's accuracy.

What is power boost for? Just a short term defense boost, or does enhance Triage Beacon or Poison Trap?

Power Boost DOES NOT work on traps/fake pets/pets.  Right now it only effects Aid Other, Aid Self, Web Grenade and Vengeance.  If I ever get around to rebuilding said character I will drop Power Boost

My Bots/Traps went "Mace", but I can see "Mu" as well. rather than post a build, I will try to describe what I did with powers and with enhancement choices.

 

Powers: My goal was to leverage powers to provide the following two things to support the henchmen:

  • "soft"-ish controls (Knockdown, Slows) in addition to Holds. I should note, I put the KB->KD Sudden Acceleration piece in the Battle Drones and Assault Bot.
  • As much -Res as possible

In addition to inherent -Res from powers, I have %-Res in AoE/Pseudo-pets: Caltrops, Acid Mortar (x2),  Photon Grenade, and Mace Beam Volley. I didn't pick any personal attacks until level 30, and I use the attacks to draw aggro for Tankerminding.

 

Enhancement Choices: I focused on set (and single piece) choices to provide:

  • Global +MaxEnd, Global -EndCost
  • All the favorite 1-off uniques, including the henchmen globals
  • Global Recharge

I don't think I have anything clever to write about Tanker-minding, but I will make some points:

  • There is only so much (personal) Resistance and (personal) Defense and to be gained, so don't go crazy. The FFG will be the main source of Defense. Scaling Resistance from Reactive Defenses is your friend.
  • Health (Hit Points) are important for Tanker-Minds, but a set boost that gives ~10 HP is not worth it IMO. Power Transfer's %Heal is probably a better use of a slot than a 3rd LotG piece. I treat Regeneration a little more seriously on my MMs than I do for most other ATs. (see below)
  • I use the AoE attacks to draw/keep aggro. They are much more reliable and effective than Provoke from the Presence pool.

Since my MM is trying to spam sources of -Res, the need for Endurance management is serious. I have reached into some peculiar sets to help:

  • Annihilation (different Endurance bonuses at 2 and 5 pieces)
  • Preventive Medicine (Endurance discount, Recharge, and %Absorb)
  • Ghost Widow's Embrace (MaxEnd)
  • Undermined Defenses (MaxEnd), plus extra debuffing of Defenses helps henchmen
  • Reactive Defenses (Endurance discount, Recharge, Scaling Resistance)

I should note that I use 3 slots in Health: 2xPanacea and 1 for Miracle. In a build with Triage Beacon, Regeneration is something that is a bit of a balancing act. Obviously the Beacon is stationary, but I find the Robots performance to be best when they stay in one place... and if I am facing a hard target I will probably not be moving as much anyway.
