Street Justice/ Super Reflex Brute Build

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I have made a Steet Justice/Super Reflex Brute for regular content and i'm loving it. However its going up in lvl so quickly i was wondering if anyone had a good build for me to work towards as I lvl up. I'm terrible at builds. Money is not really an issue as i have a farming toon and can make the money, just need a build to work towards. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Currently lvl 23.

I'm sorry no one has responded to your request. And, unfortunately, I can't help you a Brute build.

However, I can ask @Bill Z Bubba and @Snarky about this. Both of them are very much into Brutes. Hopefully one of them will be willing to help you out.

Being constantly offended doesn't mean you're right, it means you're too narcissistic to tolerate opinions different than your own.

Definitely not saying it is a wise thing to do, but here is an idea:

Not really anymore. And there are far better builds than I provide out there, too.

Unfortunately I can't use Mids, my only internet is this phone so posting a build is not doable.

     Without consideration for Incarnate Abilities

     Get your positionals to ~48%

Try to do so without using any set bonuses (other than the two +3% defense uniques)

Generally I'd aim for 3 to 5 slots per FF, FS, Evasion.  Last slot (if 4 or 5) will hold defense special IOs (Kismet, Shield Wall and Reactive Defenses)

Passives 3 slots typically.  If 4 it's because I'm intending to use Shield Wall for the set bonuses (E/N resists)

Doing the above should see your DDR reach 95%

Usually I'll have either Combat Jumping or Hover.  My main build doesn't typically have a classical travel power.  I'll often have CJ regardless.  I just love the maneuverability of CJ + Hurdle

Fighting pool     Tough and Weave.  I personally use 3 or 5 slots in Tough, 3 or 4 in Weave.  Might end up with 6 slots in Tough to fit in both 3% uniques and the +max hit points as I haven't been able to update Mids to include it in my SR builds.  Some of my builds include Maneuvers and/or Tactics.  Maneuvers would be the 9th power holding defense IOs.   Between them I'll have slotted 5 LotG def/increased rchg and probably 5 sets of 4 Shield Wall for the Energy/Neg Energy set bonus which is so prevelant in endgame content.

Unfortunately I've yet to play a Street Justice so I can't help you there (and have it mean much anyway), but SR is fairly independent of what ever your other set is overall so any solid Street Fighting build you should be able to lift from a previously posted build.

Post up your efforts and I'm sure you'll get further feedback.

A couple of points:

-This is not a leveling build!

-While having some damage resistance is definitely important, keep in mind your passives have massive scaling resistance as you lose HP.

-Unrelenting is great! Since Super Reflexes doesn't have an inherent way to heal itself, this will act as a "mother of god save me" button!

-My attack chain looks something like Rib Cracker, Heavy Blow, Shin Breaker, (Crushing Uppercut/Spinning Strike), Rib Cracker, Heavy Blow, Shin Breaker, (whichever of the 2 you didn't use first).

-Max slow resistance! Don't let some ice or goop on the ground stop you from having a good time!

-If When you make it 50, here's a couple of my recommendations for your Alpha slot:

Cardiac Core - Surprise! This build is pretty bad on end. It's more focused on getting things deader faster. Cardiac Core is the most effective way of handling that. Or you could carry some blues/have a buddy buffing your end.

Agility Radial - Do you like your good moves recharging faster? So do I. I also like running fast. This does both! And it makes your Defense defense-ier! And I guess it makes your endurance come back a little quicker.

Musculature Radial - Similar to Agility Radial, but instead buffs your Damage, Run Speed, and Endurance Modification. Who doesn't like more damage?

Hope this helps!

Sorta tangential input, but I'm playing a scrapper SJ/Ninjitsu. He hits like a truck, but has durability issues at 37 with a mix of set IOs and generic IOs.

So whatever build you go with, try and sure up your resists a bit more. Maybe Rune of Power if you can squeeze it in, I couldn't (yet)

I use crosspunch and really dig it with the build for the innate recharge, as well as the FF+rech proc I have in it. It's animation is identical to one of SJs cones, so sometimes I double punch 3 dudes.
