If you're not just trolling the forum, looking to get booted as a nuisance here's your answer.

You CANNOT log into the same account multiple times in a simultaneous fashion.

Each user has to have their own discrete account in the game.

And since accounts are free, there's no sane point to trying to share accounts.

I'm mildly amused at some of the criticisms of Reddit culture. Not because they aren't true, but they equally apply to this forum and its users, or any venue for online discussion in general.

 

With that said, more places to talk about CoH and more online communities is never a bad thing, so I wish the subreddit success. In nature as in society, diversity is strength.

Hilarious to me seeing people shut down the idea of a Homecoming Reddit based on the premise of it being inherently toxic.

 

Go look in a mirror. These boards are as toxic a place as any other for the community. Crapping on people for trying something new is not heroic. 

 

u/Acylion is probably hands-down the most helpful person I've ever encountered in the community and the only place I know they're active is on Reddit (though they might be elsewhere under a different name).

 

By contrast most of the personalities around here seem to be wrapped up in their own egos.

I literally never use reddit at all (Outside of like, guild ads n random occasional takes on stuff I find through google), and am 90% of the time here or Discord, or just in game but
The space was sorely needed, so I'm glad that there are people who agree it's a decent ida.

I'm doing nothing of the sort.
I'm merely illuminating my perspective on Reddit and why I opt not to participate there.
You're entirely welcome to do your own thing over there.
You don't require my blessing (or the blessings of the HC crew).

As for "toxic".
I see this argument misused WAY too much.
It's entirely too easy to label anything you dislike or doesn't agree with your particular outlook as "toxic".
You're still welcome to make the claim.
Just realize that it's not an actual argument.  It's melodrama.
Just don't be surprised if some (like myself) simply don't accept this ad hom as valid.

Strawman: The Post.

 

I expressed my utter disdain for Reddit. This thread is about Reddit. It's bad enough that people here and the devs expect people to be in Discord if they want to be "the most up-to-date." Every community I've seen that starts trying to drum up more users to "check out Reddit" eventually transitions into news/updates being nearly exclusively uploaded to Reddit and nowhere else.

 

My post was about how I hate Reddit, which is directly related to my above point.

 

What was yours about, besides being belligerent for belligerent's sake? You've had that account for 4 years but your only 2 posts in all that time are in this thread, one in response to my own? I don't know if I should feel honored that my words moved you to action after such a long time, but I have a sneaking suspicion that this account is merely the alternate of someone else here that doesn't want their shit-flinging to be associated with their primary account.
