Troo Posted October 2 Posted October 2 I am amazed at all of these. It's unbelievable what folks are able to create. 1 "Homecoming is not perfect but it is still better than the alternative.. at least so far" - Unknown (Wise words Unknown!) Si vis pacem, para bellum

Thank you I used character images generated by Bing (with some Gimp edits). You can see the one for U Glow Girl on the previous page and I posted a few *cough* on some pages before that. I am also not happy with you as I will now be spending valuable alt leveling time playing with it. 😁 After seeing your result with the building I wanted to experiment with a base I've been working on for over a year to see if I could get anything similar. RikOz Posted Monday at 05:28 AM Posted Monday at 05:28 AM A few more made with Google Gemini, using my own prompt: First ask me to upload an image and then create a photorealistic rendering of the characters in the picture, in a realistic style, in a real environment. It's not always exactly getting "photorealistic" on the faces, but I'll experiment some more. 2
RikOz Posted Monday at 02:37 PM Posted Monday at 02:37 PM A few more using the same prompt as the previous post. I like the way the AI uses the costumes to guess at an appropriate background. This one almost looks like she's in First Ward: This one is extrapolated from an image that doesn't show her legs, hence the actual fingers, and the non-CoH boots. When I first tried this character with a full-body screenshot, Gemini seemed to think it was porn and wouldn't give me anything. I need to explain this guy a bit. His name is "Epic Gear". His bio indicates that he was a "elite raider" warrior from Azeroth (World of Warcraft) who, due to a botched portal summoned by some noob mage, ended up in Paragon City. "Epic" gear in WoW is identified by purple item name text, so I went with that for his costume color. The actual gears on his costume are there as a joke/pun. When he reached level 50, he got his "Legendary" weapon, which I colored orange to reflect the item name text color of legendary items in WoW. Another one that gave me "censorship" issues. This is "Triple-N", which stands for "Nearly Naked Ninja"; the game of course wouldn't let me use the word "naked" in a character name. So the first problem was that most of her costumes are, naturally, as minimal as possible, lots of bare skin. Gemini again thought it was porn, so wouldn't render them. So I tried with this costume, and on the first attempt it apparently decided that this was a "real person" (by which I assumed it meant a celebrity/person known to the general public), so refused to work with it. But I tried it a second time and now it worked. 4

Most redheads/gingers have multiple shades of red in their hair) this is a great A.I. piece. (I can get away with the redhead comment as I and several members of my family are natural auburn reds.) Which A.I. tool did you use with this? This was with Bing AI, using the new GPT-4o setting.

Did a minor change in the prompt to remove the computer as I felt it was taking focus away from the figurine. Those look incredible.

Trike Posted Monday at 10:40 PM Posted Monday at 10:40 PM OMG - if they aren’t thinking about ways to 3D print these things as an extension of this then they’re leaving money on the table. Bamboom came out looking like “Bam-boobs” so I found the next best isolated character, my former CoH hero Mighty Lad who I’ve now turned into Mighty Man. Google Gemini, prompt: create a 1/7 scale commercialized figurine of the characters in the picture, in a realistic style, in a real environment. Next to the figurine is a toy packaging box with a single two-dimensional flat illustration of the figurine on the front of the box with the words “Mighty Lad” and “Mighty Man” 3 1

RikOz Posted Tuesday at 08:07 PM Posted Tuesday at 08:07 PM Interesting--She's from Denmark, and her name is "Frossen", which is Danish for "Frozen"; her name and native country was not in the filename and I didn't type them in, but the AI still "randomly" put her in a snowy, European-looking scene. It must have guessed based on her color scheme. 4

Sparky Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Gemini has surprisingly good image editing capabilities. I used it to make some changes to the character shots I created with Bing. From minor changes to the poses, which helped show some personality that the simple standing poses didn't, to making changes to the costumes. Here are some before and after results. 2
