Trike Posted October 15 Posted October 15 (edited) I was curious what Google Gemini would do with non-superhero stuff, so I picked a supernatural stallion I made with Bing and a photo of one of my dogs. Pretty impressive all around. Check out the photo of Odin it generated above the figurine on the shelf. Edit: I did not tell it to add the word “Embersteed”. No idea where that came from, but it’s cool. And a little scary. Edited October 15 by Trike 3 2
ShardWarrior Posted Thursday at 06:33 PM Posted Thursday at 06:33 PM Question for you other AI enthusiasts... I am finding that AI tools have a very difficult time when it comes to interpreting prompts regarding hair and facial features for non human figures, unless they are way alien. For example, I have always pictured Shard as having more pointed/slanted eyebrows akin to a Vulcan from Star Trek (along with the pointed ears). I also picture her having a subtle enlarged forehead crest or bump/ridge. None of the tools I have tried so far seem to be able to understand what this means, even when including reference photos. They also seen to struggle with ponytails, wanting to make them overly bushy and sticking out the top of the head. The pointed ears are not an issue, but the forehead, eye brows and hair it just does not seem to want to get right. If I say "pointed" or "slanted" eyebrows, it always generates something like looks like Count Chocula on acid. Some examples of what I am trying to use as reference. For the forehead, something like Feezal Phlox but without the ridges along the side of the forehead and temples and cheek. For eyebrows, something Romulan/Vulcanish Any thoughts on prompts to try?

The best results I've had are to provide a sample image and tell the AI to use the eyebrows/ears/etc as a reference, and to adhere to it strictly. Sadly, I don't think it's quite at the point of understanding that nuance. For instance, Eeleanor uses the "Argus" face in order to get an atypical, almost mandible-like mouth, and unless I specifically tell the AI to follow the source image very closely, it, almost without fail, renders it as a normal mouth... For reference, the first image below was made with a prompt to more strictly adhere to the source images I provided, while the 2nd was a much vaguer one... Edited Thursday at 07:09 PM by biostem 2

Evil eyebrows. Seriously all of the eyebrows on most villains are have that V think Jafar or Ursula from the Disney shows it may take that as a prompt. This is my quick "evil eyebrows" prompt on a female. 1

Thank you, however the "arched" eyebrows like this were not quite what I am after. Think more the up swept, straight eyebrows like we see on Spock and other Vulcans from Star Trek. 🖖 The AI seems to struggle with facial stuff, even when providing several reference images. It is interesting as it seems to understand what you mean if you ask it to give someone a "Spock hairstyle". 🤣

ShardWarrior Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago Various new stuff that I thought turned out kind of cool. Here are two of my alts from The Paragon Corps. Paragon Guy - Energy Blast/Psi Armor Sentinel. Had so much fun with this one, I rolled another! Paragon Jessica - SD/Psi Melee Tank (super fun combo!!) Superia Prime - SS/Inv Tanker Thought this was interesting in that it did not try to change the logo to the Superman S, but did use the Superman font for the title. I guess AI recognizes the influences! 2 2
RikOz Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago This one took a bit of fiddling with Gemini. Here's the original image: Prompt: First ask me to upload an image and then create a comic book cover action pose based on the figure in the image. Title the comic book, "Erdmädchen", and depict her smashing Jaegers from videogame "City of Heroes" Which got me this: Cool, but wrong jaegers. So I had it repeat with a guide image for the jaegers, and got this one: Much better! 1
