Hi,

 

It's me, Figs!

So... Some of you may be swimming in prismatics, but the likes of me that plays the 1-50 cycle and sometimes incarnates, getting 250 of these was a lot of farming.

 

So I want to use the shocking aura and have my latest and greatest costume.

 

I'd like to pick the bestest AT for this, all elec.  Standouts here:

 

1/ elec/elec blaster - shocked mechanic decent, good mix of melee and ranged, pbaoe etc for slotting diversity. Dynamo is good enough, voltaic sentinel doesn't need constant resummoning and mops up minions.

 

2/ elec / elec dom - good slot diversity. Sleep patch, I like the gremlins.

 

3/ claws / elec scrapper (or tank) - but that's cheating.

 

Are there amazing, your-very-favorite electricity like characters you have?

Electrical Affinity is probably the strongest Electrical powerset in the game right now IYAM. Or maybe a nice Elec/Bio Sentinel from what I’ve heard.

I get angry at the dmg boost not working like fulcrum shift, but it is good yes, AND I'd get a cool electro bubble...but... There are a lot of did powers: the sentinel is crappy, amp up is crappy, defibrillate if extraordinarily short ranged.  I'd have a hard time not considering corruptor if taking support 2ndary.

 

Control focused, I think I'd want dominator with elec/elec as the slotting diversity is very flexible for sets. I worry about primary activation times tho.

I think elected affinity is best on defenders or Masterminds because it's very click heavy, so you won't be blasting as much as other sets.

What this team needs is more Defenders

i'm leaning blaster, tried out a elec/elec dom in mids - and I'd forgotten the sentinel is only 60s vs the perma non-targetable pet for blaster. ya... prolly blaster.

 

'static heroic' effect looks nicest i think, with thunderhead body aura, and 'clouds and lightning' path aura.  so cool....

there are almost too many good powers in elec / elec blaster!  I just got thunderous blast (lvl 26) and I've not had room for hasten, having picked up only hover in pools so far.

You're not wrong, but in content that teams don't just steamroll through, EA Corruptors do pretty well because they spend the first half of combat chunking out buffs/debuffs, and once you've been through that tray, you start attacking during SCOURGE! time.

I've used electric powers more than other power sets. My favorite is a elec/time controller, has decent dps for a controller and the end drain is inevitable and sudden.  Time is a bonus lets me enjoy my victory longer.
