Etched
Currently Speed Phase only provides a +4 to Intangible, but what I'm suggesting is to give it a little boost with jump speed and or jump height. I really find this power to be useless, it's a power that makes it so you can pass through other players and bad guys. However, the bad guys can still inflict damage and you would have to detoggle the power to attack back. I'm suggesting to add a jump speed or height bonus to the power or both. Maybe a jump speed bonus of 50 to 75% which equals out to half or a little less then what Ninja Run offers or a Jump Height of 3.5 to 4%? I have experienced that a enemy doesn't notice you as much if you are jumping over them. 🙃 Suggestions or additions or subtractions?
Luminara
Super Speed already has Momentum. 1 1 Get busy living... or get busy dying. That's goddamn right.
Mystoc
I never use it on any of my super speed characters right now, I think the idea was the devs added it for flavor that you are so fast you can phase through matter like what the flash can do. Its just the upside is so small it doesn't feel worth micromanaging to turn off and on between fights. I feel like if the power suppressed if you attacked anything it would feel less clunky to use since the toggle could stay on, I don't think it needs a mobility speed incentive to use though. Rudra
I have characters that use Super Speed and its associated Speed Phase. It is a great power for when I just want to get to the end of a map and not fight anything. Throw a Celerity stealth proc' into Super Speed, turn on Speed Phase, and as long as I don't stop in a group of enemies or next to them to get my bearings, I can zip through the map looking for whatever my objective is. Sometimes an enemy will react and attack, but typically only if I stopped near them to figure out what turn I need to make. And often, they just miss me anyway as I zip off. And if I'm running with a friend, when I get to the objective, turn off Super Speed and Teleport Other that friend or friends across the map to the objective. Particularly useful when facing mobs we don't want to deal with or maps we don't want to deal with.
biostem
It already grants some stealth and other bonuses, IIRC. Superspeed's *only* drawback is the lack of verticality... that should NOT be removed for such a good power. You want some extra height? Guess you'll have to dip into another pool or look elsewhere... Edited October 29 by biostem
kelika2
i think it makes sense you can phase out with some things but not the world itself and if you can phase doesnt that mean rules of gravity change either way try out 3 slot Infiltration. 3 universal travel IOs for maximum speed and jump height. with sprint you should be in the 80mph range

Ukase
Comes in handy on the morty kal SF. Might save someone a full 30 seconds, as opposed to clicking the glowies to take down the forcefields. So, it's not totally useless. I just wish SS were faster. Seems like it could be faster. On Brainstorm it IS noticeably faster for whatever reason. Try slotting it for speed *and* add the Thrust proc. My toons feel pretty zippy…
