"Welcome" pop up

So I'm doing the Tobias Hansen arc in Flashback.  And in the mish "Destroy the Vampyr Lab" I get this popup when I successfully complete and exit the mish.

 

Is this a glitch or something?

Sometimes the GMOTD pops up after a mission complete if you haven't seen it since it was last updated.

 

I've never had any reliable way of re-triggering it though.

Maybe you haven't properly joined homecoming till you've destroyed a vampyri lab?

Through actions, probably not. Though you can always use /gmotd if you needed to see that again. (Not the same popup, admittedly.)

We actually made some adjustments to the GMOTD today (mostly to just remove the shard XP Bonus that is no longer functioning).

However, anytime it's updated, it'll automatically pop up when a character zones (or logins) after the update.

Yeah, I got the same thing when I exited a mission in Brickstown.

It was just going around.

Those things are not real vampires.  So i arrange for a nice greeting once you join the team of vermin imposter exterminators.

I'm guessing all these Welcome Popups are how you're able to enter door missions in the first place?
