Who are the top players you feel contribute a lot to the game,, yet remain unrecognized?

Same, I really don't do that much. I think this shows that people who contribute to the community as a whole, in whatever ways, make a difference.

Because you make a difference. Everyone who steps up in some way and makes the world for the rest of us fun, and frankly BETTER, is important.

This really is why our community distinguishes itself above from a lot of the other ones I've been in.

 

I wish I could remember names to praise, but I see people helping newbies out in Atlas Park or in /help or even /general all the time. Sometimes I see people spend extended periods doing nothing but hanging out around Ms. Liberty giving out free advice, costume help, joining DFB's on their 50s, dropping prizes and Inf on new characters, and so on. I really don't see that much elsewhere -- in fact, it is not only better than the community on Live was, I feel it may be unique among MMORPG's of any kind.

Thank God I wasn't named in this list as I don't contribute a damn thing, other than holding up teams because I need to grab a drink or change a diaper.

 

That said I recognize a lot of the names people have dropped in this list so congrats folks.

 

One person who legit showed me something so interesting at the time that it made me stop what I was doing and try it out myself was @Neiska with her triple box MM meteor maps back in the day before the agro changes. I only ever teamed with her once but I was genuinely surprised at the efficiency. It helped me get past my hesitancy towards MM's (on the live servers I never once hit 50 with a MM despite hitting 50 382 times, and on HC although I had farmed myself some MM's up. I had never really bothered to play them until I saw Neiska's robot army). Now, there's a good chance that I run multiple MM's built to be complementary to each other through content as I have around 15 fully built out MM's in addition to my other cadre.
