Personally I thought this was hilarious...

 

Ran into a Tsoo Boss named Tainted Wind. I guess one of his leaders wasn't fond of him...

 

Anyone else run into a poorly named mob that was amusing? That can't be the only one...

Well, the wiki points out that among a host of Malta operatives with tough guy names ( such as Death Chant Tango, Head Hunter Red, Ice Cold Panther, Agent Gator, Agent Tomahawk, etc.) there's the fearsome... Agent Tulip.

Some villain names in City of Heroes are definitely "unfortunate," but hey, creativity doesn’t come easy for everyone! It kind of reminds me of students struggling with originality in coursework titles. If you're stuck, sites like https://academized.com/buy-coursework can help with inspiration (or coursework itself). Maybe villains could benefit from similar services for better name ideas!

The Family are known for nicknaming their guys:  Big Toe Fred, 'Spats' Malone, Johnny No-Nose (ouch), Joey 'The Shirt', Mickey 'The Magic Man' Maloney...so how "vanilla" does a poor sap have to be that the only nickname The Family can think of is Johnny 'No-Nickname'?

Some of the Freak bosses get some pretty funny names; I think I've seen a funny named Council boss a time or two, but of course, now I can't remember them off the top of my head lol

Well, with the Freaks there's "Lotus.xls".  The poor bloke apparently couldn't decide which office suite to bet on, and ended up with a name mostly reflecting the losing suite.

Oh, that takes me back to the early days, when we'd pull gags like carefully opening up a floppy disk, removing the media, gluing the cover closed again, then putting on a label identifying it as "InvisiCalc -- the first totally transparent spreadsheet program", then making jokes about being able to get it running on anything, like an actual toaster...
