For a brief time there was a bug that caused single-target Tank attacks to have a tiny AoE. If you had enough aggro enemies would bunch up and occupy the same space. You could hit dozens of enemies with a single attack.

And a game quirk that still exists, but because of the target and aggro limits, is no longer exploitable the way it used to be. The quirk is that while mobs have a collision surface around them, they do not have collision surfaces above or below them. This means that, when you got aggro and had mobs clustered around you three deep, some of the mobs at the edge would jump over the intervening mobs to get closer, and drop down into the mobs closest to you. This was used to greatest effect in the dumpster-diving wolf mission, where the mobs chasing the tank, who had jumped into a dumpster, would jump in after him and, because there was no collision check when they were landing in the dumpster, could pack the entire map's worth of mobs into the dumpster to be ground down by PBAoE attacks.

I had to "thumbs down" this.  But only because of what *they* said and not because of you.  As far as the costume pieces...  Wouldn't it be nice if they offered the old school costume pieces alongside the new stuff?  Imagine creating some elderly wizard from classic fantasy fiction!  Or a Mafia boss type.  I've seen players do some pretty cool stuff with the CoT pieces.  But they piece something together that *actually* looks good.

This "keeping up with the Jones'" approach to costume design is frankly weak.  Follow your niche.

So far no one has mention that you can 'buy' the old Circle of Thorns robes with 100 Prismatic Aether as a "Costume Power"

Not as good as having them for costume options, but I understand the logistical issues from them not being created as such.

I too wish for robes. Also gating costume pieces is against my personal faith. Ohwell.

I'm old enough to remember when

  • The Hollows arcs were almost mandatory. The alternative was street sweeping

*pretty sure it was 6 mil but I might be mis-remembering slightly

They were never mandatory, there were other contacts, just when they added the Hallows it wasn't intuitive on how you could continue to work and progress with other contacts in other zones.

I second that emotion.

If going to space for 11 minutes makes you an astronaut, then I'm probably an expert gynaecologist.

Back in my day, I'd use Confuse, because it was a great Control power to stop enemies from attacking.

.... and then be screamed at, and have people drop team, because I had "cost them xp".

There's a reason I used to solo a lot on my Mind/Kin...

Remember confusing the Vazhilok bombers so they'd blow their own team to bits? That was a ton of fun too.

Only those who were in the beta version and issue 1 will remember the cows in the game. The were scattered in Perez park. They didn't move and had big eyes....when you attacked them, all they did was 'MOOO'. They were gone by issue 2, however you can still hear them in the PD Chalet area...those are not moose you are hearing!

I never knew that. I remember posting about the invisible cows in the chalet on live and that turned into quite a long, and very silly discussion. But I had no idea there were actual cows in the game.

Maybe they were Skrulls.

I'd always assumed that, along with the yodeling, the chalet audio was merely a reference to Switzerland.
