Ukase Posted yesterday at 12:26 PM Posted yesterday at 12:26 PM I know this isn't for everyone. But, just out of curiosity, after reading something someone on a team said about disliking the dark in CoH, they'd mentioned they loved the city modder add-on. I didn't ask for details, but after ATC updated vidiots, I thought, I'm here...let's look for it. It's called Never Dark Skies. I went to Echo:DA for Adamastor, and honestly, I thought I'd screwed up and gone to Talos or something. No darkness. No fog. Just a bright, sun-shiny day in Echo:DA. Now, it's easy to undo this, so if you've never seen Echo:DA without the fog, this will let you. And I gotta tell you, the Banished Pantheon Spirit Masks are much easier to find when you're not trying to dodge trees and buildings. 2

Psyonico Posted yesterday at 01:33 PM Posted yesterday at 01:33 PM DA looks kind of eerie in those pictures. 1 What this team needs is more Defenders

Ukase Posted 23 hours ago Author Posted 23 hours ago Oh, oddly - there's a cut scene in Aeon SF where "Rodney" is told that everything belongs to "her". With this add-on, the dialogue remains, but it's a partly cloudy sky, instead of a darker screen.

Midas is referring to his daughter, about passing their organization to her, when he is speaking to Rodney. City Council Michiyo Posted 20 hours ago City Council Posted 20 hours ago Oh, hey, one of my mods. Back on retail, I had a little batch script that would swap out the scene file for DA because I hated trying to get around in that zone. So I figured I'd do that again here, but with the new tools at our disposal (Being able to override the scene directory with custom .piggs) I didn't need my little batch file hack, and figured I'd do the entire game with the same treatment. 3 1 Check out the: City Mod Installer | Live Forums Archives | The City Translation Project ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤎 Happy Pride Month! ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🤎 🏳️🌈 Wishing support, love and solidarity to all my fellow LGBTQ+ siblings! 🏳️⚧️
Ukase Posted 20 hours ago Author Posted 20 hours ago Well, I appreciate it. Not having to run into walls or trees when hunting the BP spirit masks...knocked them out quickly. I used to just get 6-8 per lap around the cemetery, but now I get about 15. 1

Take Unai Kemen's first mission, enter at +0/x1, and for each spawn you find whack the minion. The lieutenant will summon an underling mask that counts for the badge; whack the mask and leave the lieutenant. If you're a ranged AT, you can stay up in the air and shoot at the masks as they come after you, but it works with melee ATs as well. After a minute or so, they'll summon another, and will keep summoning a new mask after you whack the last one they summoned. When you have six or seven lieutenants pissed off at you, cycling around through them will keep you in a steady supply of masks until you get the badge.

But I'd always set it to -1/8. I just engage the first group, and kill everything that doesn't spawn a mask. It's usually 3 of them per group. I want to say they're "Ancient of " one thing or another. Then I engage the second group, kill all those that don't spawn a mask, leaving me with 6 of them that will spawn a mask. I tend to have enough survivability between destiny, normal defense and insp use to just stand there and swat the masks as they come. If I don't, I bring a natty in with a heal on auto. But in the case of the above character I was on, I was rogue; and I only needed about 60 more masks. And a level 50 just one shooting a level 26-28 boss, compared to waiting 90 seconds or so before the mobs in Unai's mission spawn more masks...well, I anticipate I'll be hunting in the zone unless I need well over 100. Not to mention it was bright and sunny in Echo:DA. I was having more fun there than I would in the mission. Oh, and I was waiting on Adamastor, too. Edited 4 hours ago by Ukase
