Scarlet Shocker Posted Thursday at 08:22 PM Posted Thursday at 08:22 PM Do not like. Do not want. I'd like to be able to disable the receipt of the costume powers. They are like spam to me and I hate them in my trays. I don't want to disrupt anyone else's pleasure but to me they are as useful as spam fritters. Can I make them stop pls? 1 All the best chemistry jokes argon

In the meantime, my work around is to create empty macro placeholders on my tray until ToTing activities have concluded. Anyone else have band-aid solutions? Ukase Posted Sunday at 06:47 PM Posted Sunday at 06:47 PM I kind of get it. But so far, other than a couple of characters, my trays are full with accolades. macros and actual powers, so I've been having to dig through my powers list to find a costume, and then open a tray to place the costume in it. I kind of use the tray I opened as a counter so I don't have to keep checking how many left I need. But when I took my level 36 in there yesterday to try and get progress on fashionable (which I still don't have, thank you very much Mr. RNG) and yeah, it's a lot of clutter.
lemming Posted Sunday at 07:13 PM Posted Sunday at 07:13 PM I usually have my trays filled with other stuff and for ToT I have another tray that gathers the costumes, when I get one I don't want to use, I remove it, repeat until relevant badges are done. And then I ignore it for a week since it cleans itself up. (pretty sure it's 7 days)
Rudra Posted Sunday at 07:21 PM Posted Sunday at 07:21 PM Like @lemming, my trays are usually pretty full. So I might have one tray with open slots depending on the character. And since that tray is my 'rarely used but visible in case I need/want' set of powers, I just ignore whatever costume show up in the tray. I might go through costumes in the list and place one I might be inclined to use during the event on the tray, but mostly I just ignore that tray unless I need a relevant power on it. So I don't notice the costumes there and they go away after the event on their own.
Captain Fabulous Posted Sunday at 08:22 PM Posted Sunday at 08:22 PM Close unneeded trays and fill the remaining trays with powers. Problem solved.
srmalloy Posted yesterday at 01:42 AM Posted yesterday at 01:42 AM It's not just the ToT costumes, it's the idiotic way you receive other temporary power, too. Take the Valentine's event; deliver a valentine, and you get either an Arrow of Romance or an Arrow of Jealousy temp power — and an icon for it in the first open tray that doesn't already have one. The same happens with the temp powers from opening presents in the holiday event — you apparently need an Instant Snowstorm icon in each of your open trays, and the game will make sure you get them. Or Build Snow Beast. Or the temp powers from the anniversary event. Even though you only get one entry in your powers list no matter how many times you get one of these temp powers, the game keeps dumping more icons into your trays if there is a tray that doesn't already have an icon for it. The game should check to see if the character already has the temp power, and not create an icon if they do; if they don't have it in a tray, it means they removed it when they got it the first time, so cramming one in is counter to how the player wants the character's trays arranged.

The game should check to see if the character already has the temp power, and not create an icon if they do; I definitely agree with this part. If you already have the temp power and you get another use of the temp power, the game should not be throwing duplicate icons all over players' power trays. The costumes don't seem to drop duplicates, but things like Snowstorm and Snow Beast? I'm fine with getting more uses of them from opening presents, but since I already have the power, can the game please not keep throwing more icons on my trays? The game should check to see if the character has the power, and if not, grant the character the power and load a power icon. And if the character does? Just increase the charge count if able to have more charges and not add another icon. Don't even check to see if an icon is in a power tray. If the character has the power, do not add an icon for getting it again.

It's an old British food, dating from WWII (served in fish and chip shops as an alternative to fish when it was unavailable) -- slices of SPAM (the recipe says you should get eight slices from one can) dipped in a beer batter, and deep-fried, with optional mustard and a cheese slice on the SPAM before dipping in the batter; you can find recipes either on the SPAM website or a couple of other places on the net. I'll pass on the mushy peas they're traditionally served with, though, but the chips are okay.
