If someone posts a reply quoting me and I don't reply, they may be on ignore. (It seems I'm involved with so much at this point that I may not be able to easily retrieve access to all the notifications) Some players know that I have them on ignore and are likely to make posts knowing that is the case. But the fact that I have them on ignore won't stop some of them from bullying and harassing people, because some of them love to do it. There is a group that have banded together to target forum posters they don't like. They think that this behavior is acceptable. Ignore (in the forums) and /ignore (in-game) are tools to improve your gaming experience. Don't feel bad about using them.

Xalon Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago It is still frustrating to see all these things that were attached to CoH that have been abandoned. The devs made mistakes and left a small team to create GR and things could have been sooo much better. If they took the updated technology of Champions Online and used that to improve CoH, we would have a different better game. Now all these years later, we have CoH: Homecoming. And it can make a true comeback and earn A LOT of MONEY from MILLIONS of subscribers again. And with the NCSoft license, there could be an arrangement where a certain percentage of profits go to NCSoft and the remainder used to give COH: Homecoming a permanent, full-time development team, as well as a ton of marketing and outreach. There are hundreds upon hundreds of MILLIONS of computer owners and computer gamers that have no idea what an MMORPG even is, nor do they know about CoH or that it's back as Homecoming. If we just worked together to help promote the game to peers and they had a real budget for devs and marketing, we could take CoH: Homecoming to the next level!!! Step 1: Sit down with NCSoft and hash out a percentage deal. They will agree I guarantee it. Even if they got 50% of profit or more, there would be plenty to cover CoH and to pay all the full-time devs, as well as bonuses for those that volunteer their time. We can do $10 a month and have some items in the store to sell and it would work. Step 2: Once that is setup, the marketing begins. Fresh branding and marketing assets. New commercials and ads and more. All of which I have no problem doing for 25% of the cost. Just to help the game I love. We reach out to all former players going back to the beginning. So many ideas can work well, especially focusing on non-mmo players so we get more people who will stay instead of burnt out, jaded, bitter mmo veterans who only care about rushing and powerleveling. Step 3: With a budget and marketing and f/t devs, we can make a real plan for larger updates and do everything! We can even bring back everything that has faded, like Supergroup base PVP, minigame pvp, and the prominence of the PVP zones. We can have more raids, more trials, etc. And the devs can create a brand new campaign, locations and more - to take CoH to the next level and beyond! This would work. But it requires effort to make a reality. If my team handles all the marketing, and they can get a deal with NCsoft for a percentage of profits, there could be a million players back in game within 2 years. That is the dream, but also a possible reality. But it probably won't ever happen. There's nothing to lose, of course, so it is definitely worth trying out. Any thoughts?
