Display Name Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Is there a "list of procs" on the wiki? The wiki talks about them a lot but I can't find a "Here is a list of all available procs and *only* procs in Homecoming." Also, I don't play lowbie toons. So all of my procs are level 50 or as close as I can get to it. But I *do* play lowbie content. So my level goes up and down periodically. Should I use a catalyst on my procs? I've heard both ways. I'd like to see it on the wiki if anyone knows. Procs can't be boosted, correct? People seemed pretty clear on that. Personal experience reinforces that. I'm just asking in case there are exceptions (since there are nearly *always* exceptions.) @Super Whatsit Superbase passcode (Excelsior) is "passcode-6475" It's all a Nemesis plot. But not everything is a Nemesis plot!

Steadfast Protection gives +def as well as level-dependent resistance, and LOTG gives +recharge as well as level-dependent defense, so higher level is better. It's minor, but I'd always make sure these are attuned so that you will get more out of them. I never even considered whether or not I could boost them, but I don't think so because of the proc component. 1 Who run Bartertown?
Ukase Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago I would boost the steadfast and the lotg if I wasn't planning on exemplaring. There are smarter people than me that can explain these far more concisely and clearly than I can.
Uun Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/Exemplar_Effects_on_Enhancements#Special_IOs_from_Sets Go to the bottom of the page linked above. Procs don't follow the -3 rule and attuning them is unnecessary. The level of the proc doesn't matter as long as the power is active. On the flip side, globals do follow the -3 rule but don't need to be in an active power. Attuning globals (i.e., LOTG +rech) is beneficial if you exemplar. 1 Uuniverse

I've boosted Steadfast Protections for the tiny bit of extra +resistance it gives. 1 What this team needs is more Defenders

Boost them whether or not you intend to exemplar, as long as you've got them slotted where they don't contribute to set bonuses (i.e., a lone LotG in Combat Jumping) — the IO will still be a +5 at whatever level it scales down to due to exemping. If they contribute to set bonuses (as in a two- or three-slotted Weave), then you attune them, so you get the set bonus count over the widest level range. 1

I'm just asking in case there are exceptions (since there are nearly *always* exceptions.) Boosting a proc does nothing but waste your booster, except in the rare cases like the Steadfast Protection Res/+Def or the LOTG Def/+Gloabl Rech (as noted above) and any similar with a dual "normal" component and a proc. The boosters boost the "normal" aspect of the IO, but does nothing for the actual proc portion itself. All those damage procs, perf shifter, numi's miracle, etc, etc, etc - boosting does nothing. As far as attuning your procs.... If you are relying on them for a set bonus at an exemplared level, then attune them. If not, then don't waste it. The proc will still work when exemplared to a low level even if it's lvl 50 - the IO itself will still function and will proc. For example: You slot 4 Performance shifters with 1 being the proc. The 3 are attuned and the Proc is lvl 50. You Exemplar down to lvl 25. The proc will still work, but you will only get the set bonus for 3 Perf shifters since they are attuned. If you attune the proc as well - you'll get the set bonus for all 4 when exemplared. I hope this helps. 2 1

If you boost LotG +rech, the recharge buff will stop working below lvl 47. 1 Uuniverse
