where to download tequila

where can i download tequila from. i use it for another coh server i play on. my hard drive crashed on me and wasnt able to save anything from it. just needed to download it for my other coh server.

Yeah, Homecoming uses it's own launcher https://forums.homecomingservers.com/getting-started/ .   I did some googling and it's like Tequila got wiped off the map! I can find Sweet Tea all day long, but Tequila got snapped by Thanos, it seems.

Does your other server have a forum or discord or something?  That would be a better place to ask,  since HC hasn't used tequila in years.

@beveri8469, I use Tequila to almost daily play Homecoming as do many others.

I'm ever so slightly dismayed. I see the word tequila and I can only think of one thing.  No, I don't have a drinking problem other than my wallet won't let me buy as much as I want.

thats alright i found a copy of it on another hard drive i have and didnt realize i had it on there. and also the other server i play on doesnt have any forums to ask on is why i was asking here.

The Tequila launcher was originally built for the i25 Score server, and Homecoming used it for a few years. It's been depreciated and replaced by the Homecoming Launcher. 

 

Tequila will still kind of work at Homecoming, but, if I remember correctly, it is a huge hassle to use because it no longer updates the manifest number that allows both client and server to match and function together.

 

It might still be downloadable as part of the I25 COH Client and Server package over at Ourodev.com https://wiki.ourodev.com/I25_CoH_Client_and_Server

 

Interestingly, I just noticed that Ourodev now has their own Sunrise Launcher  https://wiki.ourodev.com/Sunrise_Launcher

 

Pretty cool.

depreciate - to diminish in value over a period of time (like a car)

deprecate - to disparage or belittle - BUT - in an IT/computer context, it means to phase out or discontinue support

 

So, yeah, Tequila is being deprecated and will no longer be supported as of the next update.

Official notice from the Homecoming Team that they will no longer be updating Tequila manifests with the release of Page 3, Issue 28. You will need to download the Official Homecoming Launcher to play on the Homecoming server.
