  1. That was going to be my next suggestion. Looking at the log, the program starts up, but then exits normally. (Which one would think if it gets blocked, it should get an error, but not every program plays nice) There probably is an error message somewhere in your system logs, but Windows isn't my thing anymore, so someone else might be a better director on that. My last windows system was in 2012. (hmm, why that year...)
  2. It's where the game is installed. C:\Games maybe?
  3. Hmm, on my system it opens a monitor window. Ok, if that is not coming up, there should be a client.log in Homecoming\logs\live Maybe that will have a clue. (I think it holds the info the monitor window would show)
  4. Now what would be interesting is, you start a dance emote (maybe certain ones), you get joined by a random NPC.
  5. I'm not sure actually, I don't have much of an opinion. Moving WW down I thought wasn't that great, but just because it seemed she liked overseeing the dance floor and now she's on the main floor. (I think got moved to get the leveling traffic down out of the bar?) In any case, it's probably not that big of a deal. Certainly less work than Blarf (though he was an important experiment)
  6. Sounds like you have the option to exit on launching enabled. It's under general settings. And you still need to post what the console log is saying since it's probably got the error message that is stopping cityofheroes.exe from running
  7. Depends on the server I would think. There seems to always be some people around on Everlasting.
  8. Yep, that's their purpose, plus the bit extra regen two slotting that comes with it. I like seeing what others do with this.
  9. I was there. It was boring AF for anyone not the tanker.
  10. It's the main client with some extras. Have you looked at the console output?
  11. See in settings with mine where there is a hide box unchecked. Do that with the Diag client. And check what the console log says
  12. First, I would verify your install, (look for it under the 3 dots) If that doesn't. Enable the Diag client and check the debug console Note results Enabling Diag client, just unhide it, but more details:
  13. Pretty much any similar situations, it's all based on radius to target. It would happen even if the glowie was in a different branch. Similar to some blinkies you target can be done around obstacles as long as you can swing the camera into the right position.
  14. Yep. Just pointing out one the examples on when this happens.
  15. I have been doing Harvey Maylor missions and am in the Upon the Psychic Plane arc. After your rescue Percy, the next mission in the arc is to hunt 20 Carnies. I decided to just knock them out in St. Martial as a vigilante and grab the exploration badges. All solo. On dealing with the Carnies, you get the mission "Rescue Ellie Weissman" It put the mission in Nerva. Odd, but fine. I selected it and hit Mission Transport. Had the usual warmup, but instead of porting me to the mission, it gave the message "This is a side specific mission and requires all team members to be on the same side." It then ported me to Peregrine Island for my other mission. It then placed the "Rescue Ellie Weissman" mission in Independence Port.
  16. When I need a break from CoH, I do a lot of solo CoH.
  17. Reasons I'm not a dev: I'd make bumping into the shield count toward the badges that you get from the MSR. (exploration, Master of Arms, the bomb one...) But it would be a random choice that had a long time out...
  18. That one is a definite no. You also don't get credit for defeating all the AVs, but the grunts in the attack wave all count toward their respective badges.
  19. Are you sure that's needed?
  20. Have they done a trace to see where the problem happens?
  21. This has not been vetted by people that know what they're doing, but this build has served me pretty well. It's Radiation/Regen, but you may be able to mod it. Usually if I seem to be taking a bit of DPS past my regen, I just back off for a little bit and wind up fine. radiumruby.txt
  22. Spaghetti Betty is one of the people I'm willing to trust. 😄 (At least for CoX stuff. I'm still not handing over my CC to them)
  23. I refuse to turn off General because a small percentage of people can't follow the code of conduct.
  24. I'm in the midst of rebuilding my AR/TA. Do you have a shareable build? (Whoops, never mind, I'm rebuilding an Archery/TA...) I swear i had coffee
  25. I think it depends on how the timing is with your recovery. I find the highest cost powers are the ones most often detoggled first and the lower cost powers might then get a break by being checked after a recovery tick allowing them to not shut down. There's definitely a random component involved. I've found Unbreakable Guard invaluable for end management since just two slots gives an end discount.
