How about a Kallisti S/E train station?
lemming replied to ninja surprise's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
It would be nice for Market Crash since Ouro doesn't work for it, but one always takes it to Talos (typically, FF & IP are close, and I think Cap & GV for ferry) -
How about a Kallisti S/E train station?
lemming replied to ninja surprise's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Probably not a good lore request since it's more a red side, but there was an ask for a ferry as well. I'd be happy with an Ouro portal exit that dropped you on the current train station. -
I missed that on the patch notes. Seems like they're fairly useless now and instead of 2 unstable, they may as well just award a Prismatic. Their only use now is a 3-1 conversion to Prismatic. Being account bound, you can mail them to yourself and that's it. So yea, random, or why bother having them.

Patch Notes for November 25th, 2025 - Issue 28, Page 3
lemming replied to The Curator's topic in Patch Notes Discussion
I tend to dislike them too. If cut down to 10 instead of 20, I'd groan less. If the engine could do it: Have it set to 20, but random chance of finding the one hunted that gives up the info. So, you might get lucky and just have to whack one. The labyrinth changes are very cool. I didn't have the time or patience to hunt down the clues like GP (though I did find all the first group of clues before getting a major hint from them) -
I tend to try to build a fairly rounded tank lately for level 20 content, but I do tend to lean toward the defense side first. There are some pool picks I try to cram in if possible such as Teleport Target since it's an all around useful power.

Could be that some mobs are giving better XP. From what I understand it's not a one place change.

I'm inclined to agree with smaller updates, but the HC team have their own schedules to coordinate, etc... My experience from the SW world is that devs love documentation, but hate writing it.

Can't combine lower-tier incarnate salvage into higher-tier

It was ridiculously expensive. I remember looking at it when the change was in beta. I'd rather do 20 heather arcs. -
Patch Notes for November 25th, 2025 - Issue 28, Page 3
lemming replied to The Curator's topic in Patch Notes Discussion
Honestly, I thought they were getting rid of the option completely. First I heard of the Prometheus option was Ukase. And yes, repeating: "Should have been in the patch notes, but probably just missed" -
Yep, that should have been in the patch notes, though I missed that the horribly expensive way to get a rare & very rare was moved to Prometheus. Last I knew it was gone completely, but I hadn't checked if it was in this update or shelved until later. The reason why it wasn't in the patch notes is not because they're trying to sneak it past people. It just didn't get in the patch notes.

iirc, different missions can have some different levels (and then there's mobs with various cutoffs) Helps to say what mission and even do a whereami to lock down map names, etc... OP would have helped to have at the minimum. Mission name and contact, whereami info, your character level

Dumpster🔥Kings Row ↔ Perez Park Connection
lemming replied to Nayeh's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
If you had looked at it and compared to live, a lot of the elements were already in place. I agree with the info terminal, I think it's smaller than usual and should be functional. I glanced at it on beta, but didn't have any notes. iirc, the four watchtowers were there on live. The spot for the gate was there already. I'm guessing the contractors just followed the specs and didn't feel cleanup was part of it. About Kings Row vs King's Row. Follows the same logic on the IP road sign (and teleport beacons, menus, etc...) Various elements should be pointed out that are clipping etc, but Nayeh is pretty abrasive in their feedback. I've never had a dev come back with "Thanks for being a jerk about the bug report" -
Hmm. Just ran it on Open Beta using mission complete cheat. First and Second mission were in different doors in IP. First one near Hosp, other near Terra Volta. Then South Talos, Delivery, Skyway, then Talos near the DA door. So, regular chances after the first. Tried again, same mission doors for the first and second. Third try, I actually went into the mission and cleared. Yep, first door at IP: [-1625.2 -18.9 -6478.9] and second at IP: [-912.1 -17.5 433.2] Other missions seemed to follow the usual pattern I've gotten used to. I tend to TT between them anyway at this point
-
I did have a Citadel where the second mission was not in the same door as the first, maybe a year or so ago. And the IP up in the far NW, and then Talos up north has always been a chance.

MiDs continues it's years long downhill slide
lemming replied to Snarky's topic in General Discussion
My main use of Mids was to look at other people's builds. -
There is at least one that gives that message, I'd have to look for an example when I'm back on. It might be Number Six who you get as a phone contact, but is hanging out in RWZ. Though I think there's another that doesn't start as a phone contact.

@Voltor had the same issue recently

See! We're failing much faster now! -

Hey, at least we're not sitting in an office feeding 40 floppy disks into a system to install an OS. (And then setting up uucp to be able to upload the rest of the SW so you could go to bed while it chugged away) -
Honestly, I'm not OK with this. I'd prefer that owning Evasive Maneuver (despite the name) raised the cap on flight to Afterburner levels. Afterburner would still be fine with non-EM characters, but those with EM could just fly that fast. On the why of speed caps at the level they are, there is some upper limit that the engine can deal with. (something rendering I think?) Will have to get someone with more knowledge to weigh in.

That's because @Snarky is much more responsive with service, ensuring that your donations go to the correct fund.
-
It also grabs any hostages, etc... that you're leading, so technically it does affect others.

Got behind some geometry on The Underground Server: Everlasting Zone/Mission: P_Underground Position: [429.9 -64.0 4472.5] And apparently it was close to where a mob had gotten stuck
