James Noble, not a resistance member. Plenty of other ick is in Praetoria.

The only sides that seem to want to just do good are the Wardens, but you don't see the true horror of Praetoria until the final arcs. Responsibility is probably the second least evil since they're in it to protect people without knowing how terrible the regime is. Power, they're in it for themselves, but you get a clear idea just how insane most of the praetors are. Crusaders, yea, they're flat out terrorists. On Praetoria being a good place: No. Freedom there is heavily regulated and if you step out of line, you can get crippled or worse by the PPD. Drugs in the water supply to keep you unaware, people being kidnapped for medical experiments by the people in charge, and so much more. End game of course is fleeing praetoria which is except for the outpost, everyone flees to Primal. Maybe there was a plan to retake Praetoria from the Hamidon, but shutdown happened. We do have new arcs from HC with some of the players of Praetoria vibing off the few arcs that were written on live dealing with the after effects.

Woo, this will be an interesting thread to try to keep in the lines... Praetoria is more fascist and definitely a dictatorship, while Primal is more libertarian, at least in my view. Though, as the story is shown, Hamidon is a much bigger problem in Praetoria. I think you need to read the full history of Praetoria, it's a pretty awful place. It just looks pretty.

I have. The issue isn't starting it from inside an instance, but from a character exiting the location when it's trying to move you. (Exact mechanics unknown) Devs seem to be aware of this now, but who knows if it's an easy fix to add a check to at least stop a crash. I also got a crash by doing LFG from the open world, but clicking on an Ouro portal just before zoning. Interestingly, I did not get a crash if the LFG was to an instanced Trial, just on ports to a TF contact. I wasn't able to replicate crashing other characters clients in anycase. Not sure why the other players crashed, with me the other chars ported properly as long as they didn't click exit or something, but there may be another variable to tweak.
-
Excellent it worked! Let me get that holy water transfusion, and then we'll meet.
-
I usually have my trays filled with other stuff and for ToT I have another tray that gathers the costumes, when I get one I don't want to use, I remove it, repeat until relevant badges are done. And then I ignore it for a week since it cleans itself up. (pretty sure it's 7 days)

That's why you need to put it in YOUR folder and why I provided a file. You click on it from "My Local Stories" and then hit the Test button. No need to publish it. Other option is to setup a small mission with all the elements. Mine has fight a boss (to make sure I have mobs), a destructable and a clicky and a hostage. Map is the Blackbeard pub map since that was a small map that allowed all the elements needed. I can probably walk you thru via discord later today. Right now I need to go run around Portland for a bit.
-
The file will need to be in the architect->mission folder for you to be able to see under the AE console when you click on the console in the AE If there, you should see it under My Local Stories and then when opened you should have the Test button. Then Accept, and run the mission.
-
Sounds like a race condition that confused the engine when you clicked exit. I've done the LFG out of a mission or TF as described without an issue, but it's interesting that everyone crashed. Possibly because you were in transition between maps when it tried to move everyone to the TF start and LFG does want you all in the same zone. I think it checks where everyone is to make sure you're all in the same zone on start, but if that changes... Just tested and yep, if you hit exit it will crash the client, but otherwise, it will do the port to the TF contact per usual. So, don't hit the mission exit bit. (And don't use some other method to leave the mission like a base port or Ouro portal)

Just doublechecked and all test badges (other than Among Friends) can be gotten with this mission. Either by opening the editor and saying "Save and Test" or by just clicking test
-
For Among Friends, you do need a full team of eight. Bug Fixer, you need to do one of your own, but nothing else needed. Virtual Destruction, have a mission with a destroyable item Virtual Impulsive, item to click Virtual Victor, any mobs Virtual Extractor, need a hostage to save Virtual Victim, just let yourself be defeated I've attached a very simple mission that should allow you to get the full list of test badges. testbadges.storyarc

Probably go with the clockwork as in Advanced Lady Gray and seen in the Labyrinth. (slight difference though) Of course, all this messes with timelines pretty badly. By then, he's gotten weird about Penny Yin while it's not mentioned in Posi or Synapse. There could be another TF made around the Praetorian Yin and the Clockwork King perhaps?

They do. Same XP as when you then defeat the doggie.

Excalibonk is from the 4* LFTF, Kong fight with only rescuing at most two psychics.

Daredevil Born Again getting a Season 3
lemming replied to ZacKing's topic in Comic, Hero & Villain Culture
Well, Viggo is much more capable from reports on a lot of things. I don't think Finn did a great job, but I don't think he was given the tools either. -
Daredevil Born Again getting a Season 3
lemming replied to ZacKing's topic in Comic, Hero & Villain Culture
That was one stunt coordinator saying that from reports, but Finn also didn't have much time to train either. (3 weeks?) I always got the feeling it was a rush job -
What!? You don't have everything memorized over 20 years of changes? Unbelievable. 😄

Quite a few new ones have adaptive recharge that the more targets you hit, the longer recharge. Not sure about that canceled one, though I guess snipes and such work like that if interrupted.
-
Maybe we can get adaptive recharge applied to it. The more team members the longer it takes to recharge (8 man would be the current time, 1 would be near instant) Mission Teleport needing the full cooldown if it's invalid is the most annoying.

Interesting. I haven't gone below 2x2 for my "Cram everything into one room" bases. The more you know

Remove the new Force Field VFX with the noparticles command
lemming replied to ShardWarrior's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
That's your prerogative, but I find some of them pretty handy and their support has been pretty good. I haven't tried many of the graphical ones, but the sound ones are incredibly handy. The popmenu ones I like working on, so I tend to just get them -
Thanks @Cobalt Arachne The explanations help me understand the reasoning.
-
This part is what I object to. So, taking away a role from the Dominator and Controller is OK? I think there's a place inbetween to work toward.
-
Eh, I've seen a couple cases where the GM was out, and ran away before being defeated with a smaller group, but it could have been just not focusing. Defeating the Nemesis GM from the invasion awards the Nemesis Plot badge to anyone in the zone when he is defeated. (Not to be confused by the Nemesis AV who appears in other places) I think it would need some more coding for this instanced thing, and frankly I wouldn't spend dev resources on it unless it was quick and easy to do. I like the concept of being able to get badges as a solo player within reason. And that "within reason" is a loaded phrase. It's going to be different for most. Different paths to get to a goal I think is a good thing, but I'd rather have new stuff than reworking old stuff most of the time.
