A small auto absorb that gets better the lower your health that ticks every 2-3 seconds could be added to resilience might be a nice different way of buffing the set. Other than that bump the resistance a little in resilience maybe. Fast cast MoG. Regen debuff resistance.

My favourite at the moment is Rad/SS with Rad/DM close behind. Great mitigation/heal set and some nice added AoE damage clickies. I am partial to Dark armour also. Looks cool. WP is fun also for easy straight forward tanking whilst attacking. I have not tried SR Tanker yet , I keep meaning to. Back in the day my main was an Ice/SS Tanker. I enjoyed that back then but haven't made one since. All Tankers are good though it's hard to make a bad choice.

Done my last try..... Got to Romulus on mission 4. It was just taking way too long killing him then him rezzing then killing him again, on and on. One nictus and Romulus left but I gave up. I don't know how you guys have the patience lol. Lost the NPC imperious he just wandered of and got himself killed. I guess there are tactics i should know better but i am not doing that again in a hurry. I will gouge my eyes out with red hot pokers first 🤣 You guys are amazing to have completed that 😀 I have done a pylon test and it seems i have added a minute onto my time now since my last respec. I am downing the pylon in 4 minutes with no incarnate toggles now. Sucks! so need to sort that out again now.

A \invulnerability stalker with ageless radial for the extra DDR, decent defence and mitigation using the melee incarnate may actually work.
-
I took my shield\ss Tanker in there and though she could last a long time they would slowly whittle her down. On the 3rd mission fighting the generals she eventually died. I didn't run as it was a survivability test. I avoided using rage too much to avoid the crash. She had 90%S\l, 68% melee defence and 57% ranged\aoe. Just over 90% DDR. Musculature t4, ageless t4 and assault. The problem was no healing. I could use rebirth though and do it fairly easily. Endurance would need to be sorted in other ways like swapping out musc for cardiac or dropping assault for melee incarnate etc. Without incarnate I do not think it would be possible with her at all. Endurance, dps or survivability would suffer too much without the incarnate system. In normal ITF she has tanked the ambush on top of the tower with barely a scratch. Invulnerability may fair better though as it has a self heal but less DDR. Definitely doable with Shield but it would need to be set up well with some heals and endurance covered. Shield\dark melee or shield\rad may work well.

Yea i did him. I bet it was a Mino or something like sovera suggested.

Nice one @nihilii😉 Impressive, on a Rad Scrapper also with no DDR. My last attempt i was on mission 3 and killed all the Generals and the last 2 bosses but the mission still said i had one to kill lol. I looked everywhere but could not find one so gave up. No luck lol. I must've been about 45-50 minutes in when completed the last 2 bosses as i spent 10 or so minutes looking for the last general as the 1 hour timer failed whilst looking. <<<< a bit ambitious 😄

I took a newly built Bio\Rad Tanker into the buffed ITF for a quick test last night. I pulled a bunch of Cimemorans and stood in the middle not attacking other than my 2 auras ticking. It was surprisingly durable using it's cooldowns heals. S\L resists being strong in Bio helped and strong regen and absorbs even with being defence debuffed to oblivion. The other resists are much lower and could run into trouble though. I think Bio coupled with a set that offered more crowd control with knockdowns etc would work even better. I have a 50 Bio\SS Tanker also that i may swap the enhances to.

Well you could do 2 runs of +4 or 1 run of +6 for example. A +4 would be easier and faster but a little less rewarding. 1 +6 would be slower but much more rewarding. But 2 runs compared to 1 would average similar reward and time to complete. Just a basic idea really.probably a garbage idea lol.
-
I think if they added more difficulties like suggested, it should be +5. +4 level but buffed damage etc. Good for partial and full IO builds and organised teams. +6. +5 mob levels. Full IO builds. +7. +5 mobs level with buffed damage etc for insane difficulty. If you went any higher levels you would barely land a hit. There would need to be good rewards like increased purple drops etc due to increased time it would take. I could get behind this. Options to disable or put a cooldowns on Insps and temp powers could be optional settings that could increase reward chance even more. You can choose fast and easy or insanely hard. Both should be similar reward for same amount of time.

A well balanced team with just SOs can do most content easily anyway. Those with an IO build just make it so much easier. It is quite normal for 1 or 2 or so IO built characters to carry most SO characters nowadays anyway. How many times do we see a Tanker on SO's for example fail and die for an IO'd Scrapper to jump in and clear mob after mob. Just getting 50+1 makes a huge difference. There is plenty for SO only characters to do. There is little challenge for well built IO characters though. When your hero/Villain is fully IO'd what challenge is left for them?. Add extra content for them and the SO characters can just run it on +3 instead until they have an IO build or get carried by IO'd players like we have now. Instead of adding +5 +6 difficulties lol just make +4 harder and those that can not handle it do it on +2 or +3. IO's are easy to get nowadays. There is no reason a player can not get a few easily or are they just limiting themselves to SO's only, for more of a challenge? If IO's are there to make players stronger then content needs to keep up with it and still provide challenges or why even bother?
-
The heroes have laid down their capes and donned straw hats...welcome to City of Farmers. 😆 Most content nowadays is just farmed. A speed run ITF anyone? Damage ATs only. Only takes minutes it is so easy. IO sets are still being added to make the heroes even more powerful yet content remains the same. This is an old game now but any future content at least should take into account the IO system and be the most difficult content yet.

Going nowhere here. You will twist and argue all day, that is quite apparent, just as apparent as your meaning in the previous post. Good luck with that, but discussing anything with you is quite a waste of peoples time. It is really not a good trait to have. End of conversation!

This is more than just an opinion do you not think? Did i attack any of your posts anywhere? the answer being= NO. Why? because you are entitled to your opinion. I am not going to argue over a GAME, that would be very pathetic indeed. but i will have my opinion whenever i want Ty 🙂 Ultimately it is down to the developers to decide and is out of our hands so calm down. Maybe a +4x8Plus++ could be added then all would be happy lol.
-
Lol guys it was just a suggestion based on my own opinion which I am entitled to whether you like it or not. I would be more concerned about your own mentality with a response like that @Lockpick, after all this is just a game. We are all going to have different opinions based on different experiences. There is nothing wrong with kicking a few ideas around, whether good or bad. But respond in a civil manner or you are just making yourself look silly. Well they can't @ShardWarriorbut everyone hates caves 😜

Having tried a buffed mobs ITF recently I believe that this should be the normal difficulty. It's much more difficult and this is how it should be on a normal run and the buffed mob option should be even harder again and be a real team challenge. Also inspirations can trivialize content so I would put a 10 or even 20 second cooldowns on those also. The AE farmers may not like it though without damage Insps to hit damage cap, but that's why we have buffers in the game and temp powers. Ranged damage dealers safely hover blasting mobs that can't reach them should be discouraged also. Give the mobs more ranged attacks or -fly powers. I would give mobs a global buff especially the high end content before making any drastic changes to ATs.

I am thinking that something like this which i am building may be one of the best options for the buffed ITf.
-
Did another run of buffed ITF. Got close to Romulus and was fighting a group and i wasn't watching my endurance, i had a Rage crash and Haste crash and my toggles dropped lol. Died again 😕 . Went really well up to there though. Luckily it didn't take me too long to get there.
-
I would think the best Tanker to do the buffed ITF with would be a Shield\ Tanker. I've only done a normal ITF with one and it never got into any trouble at all. I tried the buffed ITF once on my Rad\SS and was doing ok until the dark kheldian ambush when I already somehow managed to pull 2 or 3 groups of Cimemorans. I tried face tanking them like a hero 🥴 and did fairly well clearing a lot of them but I was out of cooldowns and went down, I should've moved lol. Need to avoid the ambush next time. Fun though. 😁
-
Nice resists :). I went more defence. I did make another that used the Force of Will power pool for Unleash potential. I am in the process of building it ill let you know how it fairs in an ITF.
-
Just placing a few new builds here for future reference. Dark armor/SS Tanker (Dark Regeneration could be procced up more for a decent AoE.) None Tankers below but pretty tough. Rad Melee/Stone Brute Staff/Invuln Stalker
-
SS/Rad would be good on a Brute. Its good for farming on a Tanker. Just build some extra fire resist in or do S/L farms.. Pick up the MU or Soul epic AoEs and proc Rad Therapy and GZ from Rad armour.
-
I would think quite a few players don't care for the wind up mechanic of TW, i know i don't. That could be influencing the numbers as TWs is very powerful. Rage crash is annoying but everyone wants to be Superman 😛

You are right I didn't see the small print at the very bottom of your post sorry, it should've been made much clearer really. But no need to be so defensive, I wasn't trying to be mean I just wanted you to go and do some more research as I didn't think it was a good build and I still don't think it is. If you want a KD proc for extra mitigation that you don't need then do it for the fun factor but there are far better options. Anyway good luck with the build 😀. Just bumping my post count some more 🤪
