  1. Why not just make ALL the Tanker AoE attacks 10 or 15ft or thereabouts? Instead of sticking with the AoE's we have now but buffing some 50% and others get no buff? Doesn't make sense. Will the Brutes ATO +fury be worthwhile now?
  2. Toy Master. Nutcracker soldier tier 1 pets Clockwork robots tier 2 pets Giant teddy Bear tier 3 pet A jack in the box temporary pet summon. A variety of Clockwork toy Bombs, thrown chucky dolls with knives and marbles as attack powers.
  3. I never said that. Read it again properly. I said "in a team" both times. I think you know that though. The fact is there is NO reason to roll a Tanker as it is. A brute can do the job easily, solo or with a team for harder content and do way more damage at any time.
  4. So the Brute will be pretty much just as good as a Tanker survival in a team but a Tanker is not allowed to do near Brute damage in a team, only in solo play? They do not need a team +resist aura, we have support classes for that, lets not diminish support even further. They Taunt! The Tanker needs more damage. The only argument that should be here is....... HOW MUCH!
  5. A Dark Brute would be great. One thing that can ruin your day is - recharge. If you are locked down and cant heal you will die. I rectified that and have 100% recharge resistance, bit overkill maybe. They barely get through my defences now and the full heal (2 mobs) is there every 7-8 seconds or so if they do.

  7. Great! the game wont work now lol. It just wont open now and keeps adding another wine pre loader. starts to boot up then just goes back to island rum screen. Did a Re-scan in Island rum screen and it seems to have fixed the problem, Game is back up 🙂
  8. How much work would some of these ideas take? It's more than just changing a few numbers. Are they even feasible? If we are throwing random ideas out, maybe give the Tanker a bar that fills when being attacked and when full the Tanker can click a skill that will pulse or just one big PBAoE that will taunt, debuff mitigation and damage mobs. Or allow the Tanker to reflect some damage back onto mobs attacking it in some way. Or just buff the Tanker damage and let players choose to play the Tanker with slightly higher survival or Brute with slightly higher damage just like we have with the Defender/Corruptor. lol Something needs to be done either way.
  9. I think there has been too much discussion on this now that is not really going anywhere. I think the developers just need to decide, release it and adjust accordingly as we go. there are other matters that need attention in game also. Sentinels for one, which the discussion will end up going the same way i suspect lol. You CAN NOT please everyone!
  10. A brute is just as survivable as a Tanker with IO's or external buffs in a team which is usually required for the hardest content. The difference between them would be minor. Slightly more health. But the Brute has way more damage. Blasters got buffed to do more damage, Stalkers got buffed to do more damage. No complaints there, yet they were fine really. Why should a stalker do Scrapper damage? they have stealth and placate etc? Why did Blasters need more damage? to help trivialise content more? Corruptors/Defenders do the same job of support and buff the WHOLE team. They are extremely similar. One villain and one hero side. We don't need both do we? Brutes are getting a Fury Buff to help with fury generation when not main tanking. A dps buff. Why is it felt that the Tanker should be a Taunt bot only and receive no worthwhile buffs? Best thing to do is remove the corruptor as it isn't really needed, we have the defender. Remove the Brute as it isn't really needed as we have the Scrapper/Tanker and remove the Stalker etc. Change content to make the Tanker more useful as a taunter with low damage high survival. Would this be better? Or just Remove IO's lol
  11. It seems obvious that it is farmers and maybe some soloers who are objectional to the Tanker buffs. In a group setup there will be little difference. A tanker will just be a little more potent. Everyone else will also still be just as potent as they were before. Farmers and Soloers already have access to the Brute, so whats the problem lol?
  12. Tankers have no trouble in the survival department. They taunt to keep mobs off squishies. A Brute can reach Tanker survival with and without a few external buffs, yet their damage is superior to a Tankers. This is why so few Tankers compared to Brutes are seen, until lately maybe with anticipation of the update. A Brute was the Villain side Tank. If a Brute can reach Tanker survival then why is it so alien for a Tanker to reach near Brute damage? with IO's even squsihy Dps can be fairly tanky now. Balance does involve IOs as they exist in the game and are not a temporary benefit. More thought should have been given maybe when they started adding them. Obvious choice is to nerf the Brute or buff the Tanker. Nerfing has already been rejected. Sentinels and fully IO'd Blasters are Tankmages btw. A Tanker draws the aggro of mobs off others and they need the survival to deal with this. Does that mean they should not do respectable damage? A blaster sure does the damage still, either way. A blasters survival is in killing mobs fast with their superior dps, a dead threat is no threat. IO's and secondary for Blasters is just extra survival. But a blaster does not taunt whole groups of mobs. Blasters will still be awesome dps.
  13. Focused Feedback: Tank Updates for October 1st, 2019 How has this gone from Tank feedback to comparing Brutes to Blasters? lol Brute is more than fine, Blaster is more than fine, Sentinel may need some work and so does the Tanker. This is the Tankers turn. Sentinel might be next 🙂
  14. How about making the Tanker Mechanic a Toggle? if its toggled on you will do 15-25% less damage but your attacks will hit more targets and have larger AoEs. Great for tanking as the Tanker can aggro more mobs. In my experience of gaming, Balance will never be fully achieved. Just get every AT in a good spot with no glaringly obvious strengths or weaknesses and that should be good enough. Let the number crunchers worry about it lol.
  15. The best way to resolve this nitpicking is to release it and see how it goes. Adjust it where it needs it later. I am sure Brutes can handle not being number one, if it is that way, for a few weeks whilst more in game testing is done :). Tankers are buffed and Brutes will be buffed....Win Win!
  16. There should also not be a situation where Brutes have matching Tanker survival but much higher Dps. The Brute is better single target damage and the Tanker better AoE fully buffed? but both are near equal in survival fully buffed? Doable lol with a few small adjustments. All tanker AoEs could be 15ft and max targets of 13 or so.
  17. With a few outside buffs a Brute can easily closely match a Tanks survival. So a Tank should be close to a Brutes damage with some buffs . All is fair. If a Brute thinks they should do significantly more damage, then a Tank should stay significantly ahead in survival. Best way to ensure this is to lower the Brutes Survival slightly, then it can justify having the higher dps. It would be a dps off tank, Capable of Tanking just like Kheldians are but not as efectively as a Tanker but deal more damage. Or just increase the Tankers Damage close to Brute capability with a few buffs, as is currently happening on test Some Brutes seem to think they should have it all.
  18. You can't please everyone lol. Yes you would lose the recharge but you get that in footstomp etc. It would be a damage dealing Cone power. Lose a proc but gain damage. Personally i think procs need a nerf lol. Either way i just think the set needs a cone attack, somewhere in the set.
  19. Remove the knockback from Handclap and just give it a Stun only. Footstomp i can understand knocking mobs off their feet but not Handclap. Should just be a disorient i reckon. Yes Hurl is often overlooked in builds. It would be a good candidate for becoming a cone attack
  20. Seems like a good idea to me also. But a cone attack in SS would be nice also. Either Hurl cone or Handclap as a cone/stun attack. But that would be another patch probably.
