Yes I think if they are adding AoE to sets that have good single target then Staff should get it's single target looked at also as it is pretty bad. Pain Dominations needs some work. Anguishing cry needs to be a targeted AoE rather than putting a healer into the danger zone. I put willpower here because once those defences are stripped which is very easy with its low DDR it is just a low resist set with very good regen that only gets better with more mobs. The regen is easily overwhelmed as it doesn't have any real emergency skills to back it up. The T9 should be better than what it is maybe. Increasing the DDR a little will at least slow the cascade failure some.

Nothing different to some other sets. Its not like you will be missing an attack, it just won't have the secondary effects. It's not like Em doesn't have stuns already. Power crash will be a spender until ET. I am not saying remove it, i am saying i wouldn't miss it if it went. Keep it for me, it is just a bonus. I am just trying to suggest possible ways to make the set slightly less combo orientated for those who don't like combo's. A small compromise. -

Or if the set even really needs it. I could certainly live without it. -
Proc-Rocks: Stone/SS/Soul Proc-Star (Issue 26 Page 5 version)
Gobbledigook replied to Bopper's topic in Tanker
I think it would depend on what you are facing. Most sets have a weakness but a good build can cover most of those weaknesses. Overall i think shield and invuln are the toughest sets going. Invuln probably number one there. Granite is tough as hell but the slow movement is a bit of a bummer. Rad is a great mobile very tough set that brings extra AoE damage, good for clearing mobs fast, which is also a survival buff. To be honest all Tanker sets are tough lol, even fire if built well. Tankers are awesome 🙂- 23 replies

PC cone will be hard to hit it's target cap unless the mobs are lined up perfectly so EF on PC is not always very good. Why would you want to use PC between TF-ET? ET will take one second to go off. Use PC just after it. It really isn't an issue. TF-ET-PC-EP/BS/Barrage or something like that, /repeat. If you want to clear the herd more then follow TF with PC and forget ET until mobs are down and use WH instead. If you want to clear a boss then forget PC and add another single target like gloom or BS etc. I really can not see the problem. I find it very easy. -

Slot TF with more recharge (heca set) and proc ET up more. TF and ET will then be closer in cooldown. Get some recharge in the build. -
Focused Feedback: Other Powers Changes

Could we get the - to hit debuff added to Touch of Fear AoE and not just the single target? Remove it from Shadow Maul if necessary. ToF hits more targets which would be better as other sets have KDs and stuns etc in AoEs. Increase the Radius of ToF slightly to 8ft at least please, so it can hit it's target cap easier. I don't believe it is hitting it's cap as it is, 10 maybe rather than 16 for a Tanker. Perhaps give the main target the full -to hit debuff and the AoE component gives a 50%reduced to hit debuff. -

If you slot the powers right the attack chain will flow much better. Experiment some more and +recharge is good. ET is still a very good attack even when slow. Fast ET is amazingly good. Fast ET on a 10 second cooldown that was fast all the time would be seriously OP. Powercrash with a Knockdown would be a little too much maybe with FF proc in it. If it isn't flowing well for you, you probably aren't using it to it's best yet. It certainly does for a lot of others. Don't give up on it yet. As a Tanker you choose whether to concentrate on AoE (PC) or single target (ET). Use PC to clear mobs then switch to ET to finish any bosses etc. The only thing i would remove if any would be Energy Focus from Barrage as i don't think it is needed really. I can't ever imagine using it over a fast ET. -
Are you the same person that has the hero Maximum Cleavage, with a similar look also? I think they used TWs.

Another I think could do with a little help is Willpower. It is a good set but it offers no offensive power and the survival isn't the best though it is good. The tweak I suggest is to raise the Defence Debuff Resistance (DDR) a little to around 40% for tankers. This would help the set quite a bit I think.

Do you really think they would leave the damage of TF-ET untouched if they allowed full crits? High damage none/low crit is more consistent damage. If you want full crit damage then the base damage would probably for balance sakes be lowered considerably and you won't even get a heal either. I would quit whilst your'e ahead. EM is in a very good place. -
That is a lot of resist chasing 🙂 I wonder if it would have been easier just picking Meltdown and Rune of protection though and rotating them. It would certainly ease up your slot choices. Recharge is always good for faster recharge heals/absorb and attacks. Should be pretty tough though.

EM with Bio for example could add some nice Regen debuff. -

I do think power crash should be removed and a new power created. I would rename it to Spirit bomb and change the animation. TF-ET will become the Kamehameha! 🤩 -
No not yet. I was think of trying on a Stalker next. Between a Scrapper and Stalker I think the Scrapper may win due to higher base damage as crits don't bump dps the same but Stalkers get AS, so it will be close I think. But both will be incredibly good.

Invincibility is different on a sentinel though. It is not an AoE aura.

It really isn't hard to hit TF then ET lol. As far as combo mechanics go, this one is really easy. It is a very smooth rotation really. The playability of EM now is very nice. Power crash isn't so good though. -
To all my Tanker friends.... Have a happy Halloween 🙂 I am just watching Elvira with a glass of wine....starting early 😛

EM is definitely on weaker AoE side. Power crash is pretty rubbish as it stands now, I never took it after realizing that. BIo and Rad or fire would be the best options to put it with to boost it's AoE. I am liking my Bio\EM. You need to be ready with those emergency skills and switching stances though lol. But it can be exciting gameplay which is fun. EM is a bit more single target dps than my SS was but SS has a lot of soft control and the FF proc really helps survival also. Footstomp alone is better than anything EM has in AoE. But SS does have it's rage crash. My Rad/SS is a monster in AoE, giving a lot of Fire brutes a run for their money.
