  1. I hadn't even thought about the Damage and Sleep issue. That does seem to indicate a need for something besides damage, unless the damage can be set to ignore sleeping targets. Keeping with things that Ice already has, there are a few possibilities I see. Arctic Air has confuse and Bitter Ice Blast has ToHitDebuff and Ice Slick has KD and Flash Freeze has Sleep. Another possibility would be to give it a buff, similar to Envenomed Blades, that adds the minor cold damage to your attacks instead of doing the damage directly itself. This buff could be set to ignore enhancements, like Envenomed Blades is now, and make it easy to control the damage added. Another possibility would be to give it a personal speed buff based on the speed drained from enemies. Not sure this has merit, but it occurred to me.
  2. Does the change to Chilling Embrace allow it to take damage IO sets now? How about Dominator AT sets?
  3. Updated to 2.6.0.3 Tanker-SR/Fire T4 Alpha Musculature Core, T4 Interface Reactive Radial, Superior Might of the Tanker, Superior Gauntleted Fist These 4 things combined produce some truly wacky Resistance totals in the View Totals window. If I remove both the Incarnate powers, the totals are correct. Adding either one or both and toggling on SMotT and/or SGF changes the resistance values. This has been an issue over the last several versions. I did make a mod to the database. I removed the +3% resist from Reactive Defense Scaling Resist IO (via Enhancement editor) and added it to the set bonus (via Main Database editor) so that it would be always on even if the power was toggled off. I rebuilt from scratch both with and without that modification and it didn't seem to be involved. Musculature appears to be buffing the 6.7% SMotT proc. Reactive appears to be debuffing it. Reactive also seems to interact with SGF to alter the resistances even more.
  4. Anyone know which file is for the Hum produced by Focused Fighting (Super Reflexes)? It only lasts a few seconds (maybe 10?), but it happens after every zone change. I already found the one for Practiced Brawler in the list and silenced it. Any help would be appreciated. I'm coming up blank finding it.
  5. As posted by Jacknomind in a thread I started... Reactive Defense IO 3 + (7 * ((100-hp%)/100)) In other words, as noted above, it starts at 3% and scales towards 10% as your HP near zero.
  6. Thanks all! That link is great Bopper. Very handy.
  7. My search fu is weak today. I can't find an answer here or on paragonwiki. How does one increase the maximum number of slots available on the auction house?
  8. Wow. That's excellent. The sub-22 exemplar build I'm planning can take advantage of that. Well, once I'm stupidly rich, anyway.
  9. This thread seems like a good place to tack on a related question. Since Purples, ATOs, and PVP IOs are all attuned by default, the quoted statement indicates they can be Boosted. Does boosting them effect their attunement functionality at all? I would assume not, but I wanted to verify.
  10. AV gets 1.5 accuracy bonus. +4 gets 1.4 accuracy bonus. Multiplied together, that comes out to 2.1 accuracy bonus using the AccMod formula from the Wiki. Quote from wiki: "So for critters, we have a slightly longer formula for figuring AccMods, AccMods = the power's inherent Accuracy × the Accuracy of the enemy's Rank × Accuracy factor due to level difference" So, the +0 AV is at 7.5% (5% x 1.5) and the +4 AV is at 10.5% (5% x 2.1 acc.mod), unless I misunderstand something.
  11. Slotting Superior Might of the Tanker proc into Tanker's Fiery Melee power Incinerate causes some very funky Resistance results in the View Totals when combined with turning on Reactive Radial Flawless Interface. The problem it causes (incorrect resistances) varies by the defensive powerset, so I'm not even sure exactly what problem it's causing. If I can narrow it down I'll add it to the issue tracker. If anyone else can find a pattern that explains what it is doing, feel free to note it.
  12. My friend asked me to post this for him, since I can host the image. Tanker ATO. He bid on one either Thursday (7/11/2019) or Friday (7/12/2019). The bid was for over 5 million. Since then, on 7/14, it shows a sale for 1,111. How is that possible? Not sure what the bug is.
  13. I'm having trouble with Settings not sticking through close and load of the program. This was happening in v2.22 as well. In particular, the following settings randomly change from how I set them: Use alternate colors for inherents Middle click repeats last enhancement Use Arcanatime for animation times Suppression (effects are suppressed based on conditions): Attacked Edit: No amount of editing I have tried gets the Superior Might of the Tanker proc to yield the appropriate 6.7% Resist All when I toggle it on. The default is currently 6.41%
  14. Your target for normal PvE should be 45% (plus some buffer) to Melee/Ranged/AoE. Shield gives positional defense, so that's what you should focus on. As such, the typed defenses are all wasted for you. For Incarnate content, the target is 59% M/R/A.
  15. I found a similar build posted a bit ago. Here is a link to it. It might be of interest to you for reference. https://forums.homecomingservers.com/index.php/topic,3869.msg27908.html#msg27908 1. Health and Stamina give better base values than Physical Perfection. Move the slotting in PP to Health and Stamina. 2. I'd drop Pulverize for Whirling Mace. Personal preference for PBAoE. 16. 1. You should focus on either Positional defense or Typed defense. Shield is a positional set, so that should be your focus. You are using a lot of S/L defense sets and only getting half value on the Melee category, so I'm not sure those are worth it. 2. You are taking a LOT of attacks and building for recharge and taking Hasten. The point, many times, for taking Hasten is to reduce the number of attacks you take and use. I'm not sure you get any benefit from Hasten with the current build. 3. Once you hit incarnate softcap (59%), with maybe a bit of buffer for defense debuffs, then you can opt to go for as much resistance as you can still get. How much is up to your preference.
  17. You are over cap (5) on LotG +7.5% recharge (Window->Sets & Bonuses to view). You can drop the one in CJ, giving you a slot to play with. You are way over the incarnate softcap (59%) on melee defense. This can be nice due to defense debuffs, but you could also go for some more ranged/aoe instead. For instance, you could go for Mako's Bite in Bash for some more ranged. As noted above, Crowd Control is quite nice and it may be worth switching to it from Pulverize.
  18. Excellent information. Thanks to both of you for that. So, at 30% health it would be 20% from SR/ and 7.9% from the IO for 27.9%, much less than I was assuming. I'd end up with just over 75% S/L/F/C, 72% E/N, and the same 55% T/P. That's still pretty reasonable, but not near as much as I was hoping for. Too bad the Tanker resist bonus didn't get applied. It must be some kind of flat bonus that doesn't use modifiers.
  19. Copying this from my post in the Costume thread, as this more realistically belongs here. Bio: As a child, I was pulled through a portal to a strange land full of cultivators like you would read about in a Wuxia novel. I was taken in by a small clan and taught to cultivate. When I came of age, I was able to awaken a Martial Spirit, even though I wasn't a native to the world. My Martial Spirit is an Ice Flame. Yes, a flame composed of ice is odd, what can I say. I learned the clan's Martial Art, focused on avoidance, and added some Martial Techniques that allowed me to use the cold of my Ice Flame to attack my foes while also setting them on fire. The Battle Ring behind me, infused by my Ice Flame, helps to gather energy to fuel my attacks and absorb damage via the Runic Ice Shields phasing about my body. Finally, I left to wander that alternate world and explore. Eventually, I stumbled upon a portal back to this world, my original home.
  20. Yeah, I've played with picking up LBE for the missing N/E resist. But, then I lose the incarnate softcap to AoE (and maybe Ranged) when I drop the Blessing of the Zephyr(s). It isn't by much (0.1-ish % if I add a slot to Agile and Lucky), but I feel like that is more important to me than the extra 1.5% E/N resist. Then, there is the fact that the extra speed from Afterburner will be very nice in certain large areas (Shadow Shard, for example). That sounds like a nice QoL thing to have. I have enough recharge to get my target attack chain to no gaps with the current slotting. I'll play with it a bit to see if I can cut an attack if I took hasten. I don't think I could manage perma-hasten, though, so I'm not sure how that'd look. I hate the Aid Self tri-corder. But, the heal is very tempting. I'm not sure what I'd be willing to drop to get it. I'll play around a bit with it. I'll do some searching to find out what kind of slotting is usually suggested, as I haven't looked at it. Did Aid Self get an alternate animation? I don't recall. I've iterated on this build a bunch and I'm kinda stuck on this version currently. It has almost everything I want. I just have this nagging feeling I'm missing something obvious, so I want to make sure I've explored all the possibilities. edit: PS.. Thanks for the input thus far. edit2: My old character back in the day was Dark Melee. The lack of good AoE and not wanting to replay it again puts me off from it.
  21. Here is my namesake, Caulderone. This isn't what he looked like in the old days, though the foundation is the same. I discovered the Celestial Armor 3 backpack and the Victorian Decor aura and Phoenix Tail tail worked perfectly for my updated look. 22. Here is the guide: https://forums.homecomingservers.com/index.php/topic,950.0.html Did you complete step 6?
  23. I've been playing in the builder with an Elec/Spines/Soul today. Lightning Field + Quills always on. Spine Burst + Throw Spines + Dark Obliteration in a pack with Darkest Night nerfing them. And of course, Power Sink to counter the massive endurance drain. Looks like it has potential.
