If I'm farming inf using my farmer for the Leader badge, I'll use Unai Kamen on the hero side and usually I'll pick up his demon map mission and clear then reset. If you're trying to farm inf just to have more of it, I would strongly suggest not relying on inf earned through farming alone, but also start selling drops and crafting IOs to sell on the Auction House.

Looking for Good LORE Sources for CoH/V
Glacier Peak replied to DMBLaan99's topic in General Discussion
I had a decent lore thread going somewhere... -
What are your favorite time travel story arcs or missions in City of Heroes and why? Use the spoiler tab if you're going in to detail please! My favorite story arc involving time travel in the game is offered by Laura Lockhart. I won't say why, but it's a great example of how to make a player care about what's happening! Most of the time I'll also just accept it as common place in the game since it was introduced in Issue 1 via Portal Corps (**I think this was actually more multiverse than time travel though) and further expanded when Faultline was updated. But I'll say I'm also not a fan of stories outside of CoH that use time travel as a blatant fix for bad story telling, but my favorite movie trilogy is still Back to the Future. Groundhogs Day is another classic. Tenet was a good take on the sub-genre(?) too. Marvel started to percolate my distaste for said plot devices after Quantmanium. **Edit: Brian Webb was known for discovering other dimensions, not time travel. See my post on this below.

Deadpool... and Wolverine
Glacier Peak replied to ThaOGDreamWeaver's topic in Comic, Hero & Villain Culture
I'll say this is movie is probably a few years too late. Unless it's heavily cameoed with fan service (something like DSMoM had), I'm prejudiced to dislike time travel/multiverse settings in movies. Whenever that's a plot device, characters lose agency and I no longer care whether they win or lose. -

They're both fantastic solo and support sets.

This is a cool thread, thanks for the team explaining their processes. Keep up the great communication!

Tangentially, once you unlock them as your patron towards the higher levels. You also run in to similar mission arcs involving the patrons from pretty much level 5 villain arcs onwards.

Insane Framerate Drop/lag Surface Book 2
Glacier Peak replied to AleahEevee's topic in Help & Support
Might be a better question for the Help and Support sub forum, but I will take a stab - How much and what kind of memory does this Surface Book 2 have? Looking at the specs online, there's either an 8GB or 16GB version using LPDDR3 at 1866Mhz frequency. What processor does it have? There are a number of CPU variations, but most appear to be 8th Gen Intel CPU's with integrated GPUs. Does it have an onboard GPU? What kind of internet connection are you using? Do you have other processes running in the background? Does your system's firewall allow connection to the game client? Of course, it should go without saying, but any number of things, in addition to what I listed, could be the cause of the issue you are describing. -
I'd like to welcome our new spamming community members and thank them for bringing these great airline deals to our attention. Now kindly find the door...

How to identify PROC-friendly powers?
Glacier Peak replied to DrCereal's topic in General Discussion
Let's look at one of my favorite powers that is entirely "proc'able." Infrigidate (Ranged Foe -Speed, -Recharge, -DEF, -DMG (Fire)) Fires a frigid beam of cold at a single target. This beam dramatically reduces the target's attack rate, movement speed and Defense. Infrigidate draws so much heat out of the target that the damage of any of its Fire attacks will be reduced. This Cold Domination Level 1 power has access to 7 procs in total! This is due to the Invention Origin 'Set Categories' that the power can slot - Defense Debuff, Accurate Defense Debuff, and Slow Movement all being proc-abundant sets. Note: Proc-per-min (PPM) Achilles Heel: Chance for Resistance Debuff (3.5 PPM) Touch of Lady Grey: Chance for Negative Energy Damage (3.5 PPM) Shield Breaker: Chance for Lethal Damage (3.5 PPM) Analyze Weakness: Chance for +To Hit (2 PPM) Impeded Swiftness: Chance for Smashing Damage (3.5 PPM) Ice Mistral's Torement: Chance for Cold Damage (3.5 PPM) Pacing of the Turtle: Chance for Recharge Slow (3.5 PPM) Now Infrigidate has a 1 second cast time and a base 15 second recharge time (across all archetypes with access to the Cold Domination powerset). It's the poster child for procs! With these two points of data, we can calculate the Chance to Proc: Formula for Single Target Attacks: ((Base Recharge/(1+Recharge Slotted)+Activation Time)xPPM/60) ((15/(1+0%)+1)x3.5/60) = 93% Chance to proc any of the 3.5 PPM procs listed above. In my opinion, 6-slotting Infrigidate would be a waste in most cases, but it's still cool to see all the procs fire off! -
I thought this was a Wendy's!

Just a shot in the dark, but maybe it's windows firewall preventing you?

Agreed on the QoL for the shields, unfortunately that doesn't apply to Frostworks if you take it. Cold Domination has a lot of graphical effects, Arctic Fog is probably the worst offender.

That's the 'Omega' Detail 3 (or 2 if they're using the Helmet I believe).
