Frostbiter

Been playing a lot of a nice little couch co-op game on Steam called Vampire: Survivors. It's a Castlevania/Smash TV arcade style game done in a retro 8-Bit style. It's $5 right now and a ton of fun even in single player.

My Halloween experiences as a kid were a little more rural. Usually the teens along the county road would fell trees if they wanted to play pranks and someone would have to stop and clear them. Which usually took about 10 minutes on Halloween since everyone was out driving up and down the road from house to house anyway. Messing with people's homes generally wasn't a good idea. Everyone has dogs out in the country. As far as candy goes I don't remember anything standing out as weird. There was this one old lady who liked to give out little jars of homemade jams and preserves. There were certain things I didn't like to get such as neko wafers or popcorn balls. Who honestly likes those?

I have no fucking idea anymore. All I want for Christmas this year is for the whole entire world to turn the aggro down.

I like that song so I made a stupid joke to post it. Lighten up Francis. Plus, you can't tell me the woman in the song isn't waiting to jump Santa's bones. That technically counts as stalking.

That Mariah Carrie song is suitably Halloween themed because she really strangles those notes.

It's always been the best MMO event in my opinion. Better than the crap other MMO's do. Take Everquest for instance. They held a Halloween event in a level 20-40 zone that only level 85+ could do.

They should have just filmed for 2 hours in a real Chuck E. Cheese. That would have been horrifying enough.

I propose the power descriptions should get a rewrite with all of the common internet slang of today. Moist damages, bop damages, sus damages, bussin damages, drip damages and dank damages.

I tried to get my boy to play but he fell to the true dark-side of gaming: FPSers. I've at least gotten him into flight simulators and racing games recently.

Travel Powers. If it wasn't for Fly I'd probably not have played for as long as I have.

I know right? It should be Evasive Maneuvers, then Fly, then Group Fly, then Hover.

I don't use the function keys. It's easier to park my mouse on the open slot and click inspirations as they drop. I play with a gamepad and use the mouse for some limited stuff.

4 - (Movement) I'm good at lining up AOEs and maneuvering my way around but I won't be first to the mission door because I don't care if I hurry. 0 - (TF/Teams) People suck so I don't group up. And I do include myself in the "people suck" thing. I'm awful. You're welcome for me not joining your group. 4 - (Builds) I don't use Mids and I constantly tinker with my builds but I can squeeze performance out of them that surprises people. And I can do it cheap. 3 - (Badges) I explore, hunt and run missions to get badges but I won't team up just to get a few badges. (See TF/Teaming Score) 2 - (Key Binds) I know a few that I threw together because I needed to do some specific things but generally I get by without them. 3 - (In Game Knowledge) I have a lot of knowledge about game lore, zones, missions, badges, and mechanics but it's all blended together into one giant frappe over the years. It sometimes takes me awhile to bring somethign specific to the top. Can I add a Costume Creation category? 3 I can make coherent costumes that look good but I'm not going to win any contests. I'm also not going to blind you by looking at me.

I don't care what you think you think I know. As far as I'm concerned there are no bad combos in this game. Although why everyone doesn't play Ice/Ice Blasters exclusively is beyond my understanding.

You can recommend anything you want, as can anyone else. The problem lies in trying to gatekeep. You can leave that at the door.

That was going to be my second suggestion. One could color them dark and have dark angry balls.

You could always pick up Polar Lights and have a pair of large glowing balls.

I enjoyed it.* I'd say the 80% score is pretty close. There were a few problems but it was basically a decent retelling of Flash Point via the expiring DCEU. The movie clocked in at 2:45 minutes so be prepared. More thoughts and spoilers below. * Mostly.
