  1. Would it really hurt you to be AFK kicked at 30 minutes? At most, it would be an annoyance and you'd probably want to plan your time on more consistently.
  2. And yet, my counter and rebuttal states otherwise. You may think that is no effort and is probably lower effort for people, but it is not 'no effort'. And some of us hate what the market has become. I don't play City of Heroes to also play "City of Accountants".
  3. I think you have a very different definition of 'no effort'. No effort would mean you only use the market as little as possible and don't buy things to flip to make more money. Your "don't put any effort" into playing the market is, in fact, putting effort into it.
  4. I don't really understand the removal of the added mechanic to allow you convert (one way) Empyrians and such, after they added it. One of the things I really dislike is the addition of 'new currency' for new rewards. Video games (and MMOs in particular) seem to be really horrible at this. I'm sure some of this boils down to the fact that they didn't want you to buy tons of Incarnate powers with hoarded merits when they came out, but the addition of converting Emps into Merits seems to have been added so that you could more easily buy Merit Rewards (Ie. special salvage and purple/PvP enhancements) after the game was closed down. This change seems like it is just to make things more annoying for the casual player to get rewards or INF to get rewards and, well frankly, seems to be targeted to make the marketers have to go a couple more steps in their ever conquering way to more zeroes on their INF calculator. I've never had that much INF or resources, even though I'm not objectively 'poor'. But my latest re-make of a sentinel is schlubbing along and not fully kitted out yet because I've been too apathetic to farm farm farm inf/drops whatever. I'm kind of surprised they just haven't mathed out the awards for 1-50 in merits via playing, then to vet26 for 'rewards' to give you enough Merits and Emps/threads to fairly thoroughly buy all the Enhancements and Incarnate Powers. But I'd probably be crazy and change any award of 5 merits into 1 enhancement purchase (yes, even the ones that cost 100 merits right now).
  5. Just a FYI, the combines pop menu mod is dropping a zip file, not the combines.mnu file. Oh, and for easy /macro COMB popmenu combines (Oh, and may be busted?)
  6. Oh, for people that want to TP target with a location in front of you. /bind shift+t powexeclocation forward:4 "Teleport Target"
  7. I think Dark Miasma with Dark Epic might allow for one or two more actually, but it's pretty unlikely. A solution looking for a hinderance for some reason instead of just letting it fix things.
  8. Eh, my SG attempted a Relentless ASF and bounced hard off of Vanguard. Our two Sentinels, even fairly kitted out dragged the team down.
  9. Maybe the disguise should suspend the toggles and dropping the disguise should let the toggle be un-suspended?
  10. Maybe it's a presentation point, as they are being presented as the new higher amounts for the harder modes? When it should actually be 'the new hard modes gives bonus XP, threads, emps/shards and we made sure to include prismatic aether particles.'. Of course, the 2% chance to get one on completion of a normal mission kind of makes it 'yeah, it's there, but you'll never really earn it by playing the game in normal mode'. Edit: In fact, at 2% chance on completion of a mission map and at least 10 Prismatic Aether Particles at a base of 10 PAPs, that means you need at least 50-100 mission completes (and RNG may hate you so more) for 1 basic transmog. While it's there and earning, it really does sound like just playing the game is the slowest and hardest way to earn PAPs. 😕
  11. They just don't fit as the newest, highest tier reward. I really does seem like the developers put their sweat and blood into this and it's a big thing, so it's fitting that it gets it's own mechanism to earn. I still don't think it matches 'hardest content rules' where you are trying to get the best unlocks in recipes and incarnate abilities to survive. It doesn't have anything to do with the hardest content... except for being 'new'.
  12. I'm actually happy to play both sides. My SG is mostly red-side actually.
  13. I'm going to be quite blunt, making a new hardest mode currency, then using it simple funzie "transmog" stuff makes me actually not want to do any of the hard modes at all. They are just going to be occupying space and being annoying. If it was really just supposed to be for fun, make it drop from level one and not be tied to the hardest modes at all. That way I don't feel robbed of effort for doing the hardest mode tasks for shitty rewards.
  14. Hmm. Is there any reason that Sentinels did not get Seismic Blast as a set when that came out (or now, the page afterwards?) I wouldn't mind getting stone armor as a set, too. And there are some really weird holes in their Ancillary power pool sets.
  15. There's basically no club music, no one (other than Bad Penny) playing any of the games in the casino. Blue-side got non-zombie tiki entertainers and Black Beard has... seaguls cawing inside. It's a frankly horrible place that I wouldn't want to visit at all.
  16. No word on Blackbeard's Pub? Or is it really going to end up the red-headed stepchild on Redside there?
  17. I think people are seeing that simple answers to their content are in danger, which is okay.
  18. I would really like to think that not that many people are going to want to run the hardest content in the game for very old/clunky transmog models. I can't even think of 1 of my 20-30 characters that would even want one.
  19. Isn't that the definition of suppression? I can't remember if the End Cost is suppressed also though. (Edit: Though, to be honest I wish upon a star that the squishies Epic/Ancillary Armor toggles (only) got 4.0 to 6.0 points of Mess protection to holds and 1-2 other types (and some more mezz resistances) as part of the armor toggles.)
  20. I'll be quite truthful, being full body transmogs and only getting drops from the super-hard mode is an amazing turn off to acquiring these. Now if they were full costume options, that would be cool, but that is a ton more work.
  21. I'm pretty sure that the Resistance and Defense portions of Epic/Ancillary armor currently suppress, even if they don't detoggle. (I double checked, they do indeed suppress, even if they don't detoggle). This would be a small QoL.
  22. I kind of wish that Squishie's epic/ancillary pool armors actually didn't suppress at all, so the only thing that should be capable of dropping their armor toggle protection/resistance is endurance drains. I doubt it would actually improve Defender/Corruptor/Mastermind/Controller/Dominators/Blasters survivability much, but a little bit would be nice. At least you might die a little slower. Probably pie in the sky dreaming here.
